It looks simple when u're showing us, but it's always different when we actually use it and navigating around it, but I would say that this look and should be far more simplier to navigate than the current shop for the new players :D
Functionally it seems fine, but I'm not a fan of it graphically. Not sure how to say it, but it doesn't look like it fits with the rest of the game's menus. Maybe it's just temporary and they'll update it soon enough, invalidating my comment lol
I want to say, it's great to see you back on the left side of the screen XDDDD I've missed that for when u play Phasmo haha. Thank u for showing us the breakdown of how to use the new shop UI, it looks much easier to understand, I look forward to getting this update tomorrow!
While I personally like the breakout of the shop, equipment manager, and loadouts, I can still see the devs receiving negative feedback since most seasoned players are now used to the current shop. Learning a whole new layout can be frustrating for some people and this is a massive graphical change.
This is much better. Not gonna lie, the shop UI was a big reason why I stopped playing Phasmo a lot. I was constantly having trouble and I would load into a contract with way too much stuff or not enough all the time.
I really like the shop update, the interface is so much better than it was. Whilst I was used to the old layout I still feel it was incredibly clunky with how much info it tried to cram in such a small space and this looks like it will be significantly better. The only thing I wish we could do is add multiple tiers of a single item. Like take a tier 1 and a tier 3 thermometer, a mix of tier 1 and tier 3 headgear and so on. You can do this if multiple people add items in but it'd be convenient if you could also do that yourself.
Looks pretty neat, but we should be able to customize the UI colors (Current color scheme kinda goofy). People hate it bc of change but I like it just for the fact that you can see the total price of loadouts and you can name them.
also das neue layout find ich definitiv viel übersichtlicher und besser als das alte, vielen dank für das video find dein content immer unterhaltsam und informativ c:
looks a lot better, but still missing an option to say how many of an item you want to buy. so if you want to buy 69 flashlights, you have to click the add sign 69 times instead of typing in 69 in a text field. I really don't understand why this option is not being added already.
Functionally it sounds fine, will be hard to say more until it is in player hands. Visually it just does not seem to fit any other part of the game, not sure how to explain it better though. Also to be frank, I hope this is a lot more to the patch than just a shop rework, since the last serious update was back in Aug/Sept of 2023 and content has been very sparce for nearly three years now.
Yeah my camera isn’t popping up in the truck but it’s also not letting me click the camera option to store in truck? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong?:(
@@Psychoooo Shame, maybe it will be something they do later on as it seems this shop UI would work with that.. As an antisocial phasmo player I can hope haha (I j/k but also kinda not haha)
Question: Lets say I own 4 flashlights. I move 1 flashlight from my equipment manager to a loadout. I die in a mission. I now only have 3 flashlights in my equipment manager. Will my loadout be replenished from existing stock of flashlights (2 in manager, 1 in loadout, totaling 3), or will it still buy a flashlight? I assume it wouldn't buy a new one until I am out of stock in my equipment manager, else why keep extra stock in the manager to begin with? (speaking as a solo player)
I know this is sort of unrelated but can anyone inform me about the console release? Is it canceled? My friends are getting antsy on games to play we are Xbox gamers
This new shop is bullshit! The quick loadout is broken! I make a loadout and add eveything, enable the loadout and boom nothing gets added to the truck. I have to constantly add items manually at the equipment manager. I want the old shop back
I don't mind the new shop but also the other shop didn't bother me at all. Either one requires you to learn how it works and I don't think one is any more intuitive than the other. New players will still have to spend time figuring it out (unless they watch this vid 😉) so there is still an adjustment period. The few youtubers I saw complaining about the confusing shop didn't put in any effort to figure it out - they just looked at it for 30 secs and said it was too hard and gave up. These were players that didn't try to learn the game mechanics either - people that just played a few rounds for the memes and don't actually play the game as intended. I would like a "run it back" button on the main lobby screen. Sometimes I just wanna grind and go into the same map, same settings, same load-out, many times in a row and it would be nice to have a quick button to go right back in. The current system keeps your difficulty setting, and you can have an equipement loadout enabled, but you still have to choose the map each round.
When you need a 7 minute video explaining how to buy items for a game then it's probably not good. This is trash. I've been playing Phasmophobia for at least 3 years now. And ever since the last big update with the new shop, I have never been able to figure out how to buy items or add them. It's waytoo overcomplicated and needs to be redone or at least just go back to what it originally was.
Things I REALLY like: naming loadouts & assigning tier to items in loadouts Things I DONT LIKE: "enable loadout" instead of buy/add/auto buy/auto add (I prefer that way) I also just dont like the new look, it looks too cartoony, not high tech enough it would be really cool if there was a drag-n-drop system, with 4 boxes, 1 for shop, 1 for storage, 1 for loadout, 1 for truck then u can just drag-n-drop accordingly, really intuitive
it looks terrible and more complicated than it really needs to be colors are just awful. whats wrong with a simple shop? instead we get yet another shop thats more tedious to use instead of a shop to buy things and a storage to add and upgrade your items that simple. this is what happens when you try to fix something thats not broken
