NEW Physician's Formula Healthy Foundation Review (oily skin/scarring)

Wow Physician's Formula is finally showing some love to us with deeper and darker skin tones. Now if only Almay can catch up.

Holy crap they finally expanded beyond super pale and pale foundation shades.

This is my new favorite foundation. It wears so well and really makes the skin look healthy. I use DN4 which is a perfect match.

It's about time, Physicians Formula! I'm so happy that makeup companies are starting to wake up and realize that there are different skin tones in the world. From the lightest of the light to the deepest of the deep, and every skin tone in between, everybody should be included. The makeup industry has a long way to go, but this is a start.

So glad Physicians Formula transitioning is showing deeper skintones some love. I hope they have a shade they have a shade for me as I am transitioning to healthier products.

This is a welcomed sight for me too. I love their products, I'm vegan and a supporter of their products for a long time, but struggle with the shade ranges too. I have very dry skin, I'm 49, so this sounds like a great option for me.

😍 I need it, this seems like the ideal foundation for me, the applicator, shade range and naming, (actually has a light yellow shade, most ranges are too pink for me) not matte, medium coverage, vegan and I’m a huge fan of all physicians formula products 😍

Who agrees that the Butter Bronzer needs to be available in a few more (darker) shades? I have light skin, but medium in the summer with a tan, and it barely shows up. Anyone with a medium or deep skin tone has to miss out on this amazing bronzer. ☹️

I might have to actually try this! I am so happy that Physicians Formula has finally come out with shades that we can use. My next run to Walgreens will include me getting this foundation 😊

I love watching your foundation reviews! There's not a lot of beauty gurus with combo/oily/acne prone skin, so when they use one light layer and claim that the foundation is full coverage, it's so misleading. Thank you for your honesty and your fight for companies to expand shade ranges ❤️

I was shookt to see PF do a darker shade!!! I have their bronze booster in medium deep and it barely shows on my medium skin. Im so glad that brands are coming out with new shades!! It’s high time too!! Colored people have been here for as long as pale people too ya know

I'm so happy that they launched this foundation in more colors than usual :D Also, since you are breaking out, I would suggest you try The Clear Line from Paulas choice supplemented with the serum from the Calm line and the other products I'll link below. They help A LOT. My personal favorite because it doesnt hinder my attempts to stay matte during the day. If you dont mind a little bit of sheen (still lightweight, watery texture) try PC CLEAR Ultra-Light Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 30+, or Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 (its the same formula with different spf points). Its water/silicone based, and has a bit of a sheen that on the bright side, makes makeup go on smoothly, no need for primer. Paula's choice packaging is lackluster but the products are formulated to be effective and as gentle as possible. I've used their line for 2 years now, and I can vouch for that. Not every product has worked for me (the toners specifically), but most have and they have visibly improved my skin a lot withouth aggravating my acne-prone issues. At the very least I would suggest trying the SPF products and The regular strenght BHA (if you are not allergic to salycilic acid.) and supplement with your own moisturizer at night. I would highly suggest to add the serum though. Its still a very simple routine.

I wear MN4 right now which seemed light but oxidizes nicely. Considering I have oily skin too it worked really nice!

Do you sheet mask? You should try sheet masking and you'll see an improvement of your skin. I have oily skin like you and I sheet mask every day and my skin has never looked better.

I really like this foundation, it is definitely on the lighter side for coverage though!

Spf flashback typically only comes from physical sunscreen (zinc and titanium dioxide) not chemical sunscreen, which this foundation has.

Have you tried the Becca Evermatte? There's a slight learning curve w/using the right amount but I hear great things for really, really oily ppl.

Oh I hope you retry this after 12 days is over. Sometimes a foundation will work 1 day then be a hot mess the next. I'm looking for a new drug store foundation but still haven't found anything that holds up to wetnwild.

I was shocked when you said how many shades this has haha. So unlike them! I lightly powder before foundation too and that helps a bit with oil control. Certainly didn't last night for some reason though haha I was looking a shiny mess

I bought this foundation recently because of this video. It's good and nice coverage but it turned pinkish on my skin later on. I'm the same shade & heavily scarred and acne prone. What did i do wrong?

This foundation oxidizes like crazy on my fair, pale skin so even the most white shade (LC1) looks way too orange on me! :'( It looked like a good match when I swatched it but after a minute of being on my face it looked completely different.
