How do you feel the 425 LST compares to the 410 LST? I just got the 410 LST earlier this season, and I feel like improvement off of an already great driver would be hard to achieve...

It can't be a coincidence that every manufacturer can gain MOI on their new driver every 10 months. My guess is the R and D teams built 10 high MOI heads and chose the one with the lowest MOU and every yiiear they pick the next design in line.

I think head design and shaft design are constantly evolving. Both contribute to MOI. If a golf company could release a product that was miles ahead of their competition, they would certainly do so.

Between covid and having 3 kids all under 5yo I couldn't get on the golf course for 10 months so I spent 5,000$ on a skytrak and making a simulator room and have kept my handicap at +1... was +1.8 before covid

Best sounding driver on the market and will be top3 in ball speed.... the g410 is STILL THE NUMBER 1 ALL AROUND DRIVER ON THE MARKET ACCORDING TO ROBOT TESTING

Why do all driver videos talk about the clubhead when it's really all about the shaft. Flex, kickpoint, torque and weight determine how far or accurate the drive will be. If you're going to plunk down four or five hundred bucks for a driver you should have at least ten to fifteen shaft options instead of just regular or stiff in a mass produced shaft from one manufacturer. I wish Alex would spend some time on what kind of shaft he's using and why.

The review should focus on a head to head between the 410 and the 425. This would help current 410 users and those looking to convert to Ping (as 410s will now become cheaper off the shelves). Great swing Alex!

I was fitted last Friday for a G410 driver, Ping are telling me the 425 won't be out in the UK till next year, I can't imagine there will be a huge jump in performance..........or is there?

So the G400 Max was never replaced in the G410 series. That still had a higher MOI than the G410 Plus. The G425 Max replaces the G400 Max. It has an additional 16 yards of slice correction than the G400 Max did.

bought the g425 max 10.5 deg with reg shaft 55g. Im a 13 handicap and love it! Best driver ive had for 10yrs (replaced my 917f2)

G400 is a good looking rooster with the gold shaft but the G425 may now be the prince of the prom. I like the matt black top living in Oz where glare can be a problem..and thumbs up to the turbulators as it stands out in the crowd of plain..and offers downward pressure to prevent topping (maybe)..

Still with you. The biggest endorsement for these is the fact that you had difficulty in hitting your shape shoots anything other than straight. They do look stealthy.

My g400 max hosel cracked. Back at Ping. Been waiting for this driver to be released. Ping usually just replace the driver. I didn’t like the g410 so hopefully they will replace with this Max. Somehow I doubt it. Al. When is the release date? Are you getting the new irons to test as well. Hi from rainy Scotland.

Pretty excited about Ping --- G425 driver will but up there. Your buddy Mark Crossfield did a review released today of the 410 LST vs TiI3 and continues to love the Ping drivers for doing what they are good at. Quick question do you know if the standard shaft sc55grams is still 1\2in longer , as I had ordered the g410 lst with it and have been told by ping that its no longer avabile so will be ordering the new 425 lst and need the shaft 1/2 longer? Cheers mate

I tried my friend's 410 SFT even though I don't slice a ball. It went out 150 yards, turned hard left, came back past us and landed on the previous green. Not for me. Because its so loud, we didn't hear the sceams as it landed.

Still with you xD Excellent video - pretty sure I’m doing this the wrong way round as I bought the LST last week. Absolutely loving it, and getting really nice numbers. Put it in a 70g S rogue for even lower spin and it really goes on a good strike. Most importantly though, it’s still in play with reasonable distance on a Medium/poor strike. Great Club. Great video. 👌
