Honestly SH demonic is the best choice for new players imo it is cost efficient, still very powerful for early/mid game, forgiving, and has good stagger, destruction, not to mention braindead and perfect for the free engraving. Also barely need any tripods
@@Flame4547 It might be considered one of the weakest classes in terms of ceiling damage, but considering no one plays their dps to the ceiling it actually tends to perform extremely well. I regularly outdamage better geared, better carded, and better honed people simply because I am able to greed so much more. Lots of mobility and self-healing really goes a long way.
While Demonic SH is very forgiving the fact that its a spec class that REQUIRES multiple wealth runes and level 5 tripods to be efficient make it less new player friendly. While it might not need the most tripods, the few that it needs really do need to be level 5 in order to transform quickly. Human form provides none of the things you mentioned.
Have you ever actually tried to help new players in this game? I’m sorry but most people are absolutely hopeless and are looking for free carries. It is what it is. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.
main thing to ask is: what will new player be doing? Speaking of best class to raid with for new players is debatable. As they will have hard time getting into raids. So best class for new players must cover as many layers of the game as possible. For that reason i'd think the best class for new players is Evo Legacy machinist. It's decent for raids. Not bad damage and amazing survivability. Braindead repeatable combo. Very cheap to build. As well as team buffs. Great mobility, for doing horizontal content. Quests, gathering, atlas. Have second loadout with swift+crit. And you have 4 mobility skills. You move faster than mounts with dash. Great AoE for clearing Chaos Dungeons. You can do it by just spamming one button. Great for farming mobs for atlas. You can camp 2 spawn points. One yourself and second by your drone. Looks cool.
I am a sorc main since the launch of the game, and I can say Full Moon SE is pretty much sorc but assassin. The only difference I would say is that getting gauge is more sort of set in stone for SE, because you have to spend your crystals before they fill up. I haven't played till just before thaemine release since before voldis release, and just built her afterwards. The lack of mana is devastating, so I swapped to nightmare, and I'd say even if less consistent, I do a lot more damage overall consistently. Of course this relies on supports not boosting your mana through the roof, and in pugs you can't control that, so there's that as well, as well as it messing up your rotation. I could go on and on about this, but hope thats enough information to get what I was meaning to say. Most Full Moon players struggle with gauge building, and ultimately deal less damage because of it.
time to hunt is actually S tier for a new player. full lv 7 free cooldown gems is not that bad. class has no breakpoint req in spec, more consistent crit , ranged + hitmaster and the damage window is more condensed than peacemaker. meaning you can spend more time in pistol stance where you have mobility and atk speed buff at finger ready. also "death fire" that pistol skill that unlock the push immunity for the whole duration. Normaly if you play the max goblino peacemaker build you don''t even have spare skill point for comfort pick tripod lv 4 utility. just don't expect high damage, for some reason they hate this class.
As a casual player I can really recommend FMH Souleater: very intuitive, one of the best DPS classes in the game so you're not getting gatekept for your class, it teaches you how to manage spec classes in an easy way and she's pretty cheap to build for a spec class. She also has everything you'll need in her kit: dashes, counter, stagger and destruction. Only problem could be that your movement speed is kinda low.
PSSH only runs 3 wealth runes, it NEEDS 1 purple rune, the second purple wealth can help mitigate some of its gauge issues, but those gauge issues are so minimal that 1 purple is enough. Its also super easy to play.
When I saw lone knight fanboys in chat saying ln has better stag than combat readiness someone didn't try blue gl at all and red at the same time. And synergy wise red will not spam cry when it's available because they keep it when they need to burst, and right now red gl doesn't have nelasia in their kit anymore.
Yea been playing GL since the game came out and people severely overestimate red at basically everything. Whether it's stagger, taunt uptime, or even damage. If you look at it's kit in a vacuum it's amazing but in a real situation most shit is on CD and if it's not it means you're holding abilities which you can't afford to do as red if you want to do any damage at all. Even saying all that looking at logs it's consistently right at the bottom of the list often behind even blue.
A few more points imo as why Mayhem should be considered for S tier for newbies. 1. Masters tenacity makes engravings easy (less relevant now) 2. Fast. 140% MS class 3. Access to defensive card set 4. On demand stagger and weak point from dark rush (easy to complete mechs) 5. One of the best space bars in the game (good cd, long animation) 6. Simple rotation which allow you to focus on boss movement rather than thinking about your rotation 7. Mid range melee. Will be up in boss (safer and can see patterns doesn’t build bad habits of full range class) 8. “Hit master” with ceiling to back attack ( encourages how to back attack but not necessary) 9. High damage floor
My problem with recommending supports is there is nothing in the game that teaches you how to play support until you get into raids and then you just learn whether you are good or bad.
Huh, I'm surprised that the breaker counts as a warrior, not a martial artist. Spec requirements I wouldn't consider as bad now that you can just run chaos and improve pieces/send pretty easily or Maybe juat ask around town, I don't think anyone would really charge mokokos for 100 qual spec accessories that don't have god engravings.
playing as gs: thought swap gun, use mobility skills, locked into a long shotgun/snipe skill animation. knocked out of map. yay. sometimes, boss staggered, yay, thought i swapped to shotgun and pressed the skill, 2 seconds later, did not see damage. takes a second to register which stance i was and swap to shot gun. boss has recovered :P soulfist dropped from s tier all the way down to d tier. lol
More tierlists to the God of tierlists! Didn't really agree with Combat readiness gunlancer. Imo it should be higher. I play it. And it's easy as hell in all raids till 1600. Even Akkan feels ok because you can always go in with an eye and clean the field in your bubble. Fairly impossible to die and you are usefull
Deathblade is horrible for new playes not because its spec but because the playstyle is hard thats all, same applies to Gunslinger, new players cant utilize Deathblade efficiently or at all as they havent develop any memory for the game yet, giving this character toa newbie is just asking to quit. Characters that are not good for newbies 1. Gunslinger = for the love of god stay away, switching between 3 weapons is hell mode for a newbie, highly inefficient if you dont know what your doing, DPS is crap as well unless your good 2. Deathblade = Stay away until you have at least 100+ Hours in Lost ark and already have good muscle memory for the game, bad damage unless your good at the game 3. Glaivier Pinnacle = another Switching Class, not ideal for New Players, not a hard class but switching could still be annoying for newbies after all you need good character control and ability to back attack to be useful. 4. Arcanist = alot of luck and switching in and out of card packs, a hassle for new players, stay away 5. Deadeye = similar to Gunslinger but in this case all Back Attack so slightly harder, of course you can op for Pistoleer which is good for newbies 6. Reaper = very low durability/easy to die, Lunar buiild requires experience with the game and Hunger Build while easy together with Reaper low defense and HP could still be an issue for new players, my favorite class highest mobility and speed in the game. Classes i recc for new Players 1. Gunlancer = what is there to say about big boy, he can tank everything 2. Destroyer = another big boy, very high HP/Defense, can tank alot and packs big numbers 3. Slayer = likely my number 1 pick for newbie friendly class, very straight forward class and has everything going for it, high mobility, high defefense and high numbers 4. every single Martial artist = any is good there are all newbie friendly and easy to play , speically if you op for Crit+Swift build, my fav of the bunch is Breaker and Soul Fist 5. Sorc = if you want a DPS Monster but not hard to play this is good, its a good start up, you can also op for Reflux which is Swift build 6. Shadowhunter= likely the easier class in the game but super boring, both builds are super easy, but sometimes too easy becomes boring real fast, only Assassin class i rec for new players
I started my journey with EW and I really didn't get where my dmg even if I knew how to play it :D But now it is still my main cause I really like this class and he got huge buffs overtime and he is deal massive dmg actually. But yeah, D tier for newbies 100%
I know my words carries no weight here but as a simple dumb dumb solo player, Breaker Asura is the definition of imma go head in and punch him in the face with a fat shield and anti knockback button. Highly recommend.
new players? what new players??? oh! you mean that guy that played solo raids for 4 weeks and than immediatley quits after realizing hes gonna be doing solo raids for 8 months (as it currently stands) to get to 1620 so he can join the others in T4? ah I see...
How is pally always recommended to new players. I feel like artists are a lot easier for them to learn. They cant keep the party alive with pally or can give onsistent buffs since they miss
Paladin is recommended support because they don't have to place either of their ATK buffs, thus they can not miss the buff on their DPS. Bard/Artist both have 1 buff that has to placed in an area that can either be misplaced or placed and then the boss moves. Additionally, there is no decision making in their kit as they provide healing and buff at the same time. Overall its just a much easier class to play.
I have both pally and artist myself, I can say that you cant go wrong with pally. It is way easier to play, less spammy, non direction buff skills, higher debuff uptime, higher stagger, higher deffense... and you dont have to choose between Starry night and Sprinkle, anyway God's decree > Starry night + Sprinkle
Impossible to know which class it is without watching the whole video, the icons are incomprehensible. Couldn't you just make a tierlist with the CLASS icons?
@Sezetth-wu7vo Yes I know what a tierlist is but I don't know the classes so I can't know which engraving belongs to which classes. And I think it should add an icon that gives the class
@@ClementMathivet11 Well unfortunately you're going to need to do a little bit more digging than just skipping to the end of a tier list video, if you want to do that tho I suggest watching JiuDau which is a korean lost ark player and he has a video similar to this one and there he list the class name as well as the engraving
New players should not play support. 10% brand uptime and high likelyhood of death. This will lead to an entire party having to get carried, instead of carrying just 1 dps. They should only play hitmaster dps.
0.01% artist are good 0.05% bard are good 1% of paladin are good I would never suggest support to new players. If you don’t get 90/90/50 or close, you are just straight out bad at support. New players might get 30/30/10
I disagree with flux being s tier though Doesn't matter how they perform, people will gatekept you. Also i use the pass on my sorc and make it a reflux, following everything the top kr player has now with flux The performance is ... mediocre to say the least , probably worse than my LC sharpshooter in guardian raid :
hunger reaper and lunar reaper both a or s tier for new players. gunslinger is a tier, reaper s tier, zerker and slayer both s tier, scrapper, s tier, supports d tier nothing makes you want to quit that playing with a bad support. breaker is s tier, aeromancer is a tier,
Lunar requires 2 purple wealth runes and that alone makes it not new player friendly. Hunger I agree with, its basically a more mobile pred slayer with better uptime
What is the point of you making a tier list like this on classes you have no knowledge, understanding, while never played the class? Look at your PS explanation for example. Then, you heavily relied on chat who usually don't have the full grasp of the class... Same goes with Barrage, FPE, Gunslinger and the list goes on and on with your takes.
