If you’re going into a room always be ready to nope right out immediately. Some rooms are solely traps with fire spits or spikes that will give you maybe 3 seconds before they go off. Kill ranged enemies first. Melee enemies tend to do a lot of damage but their main weakness is most don’t have the movement to catch you and to my knowledge there is no melee enemy that can jump between different floors on a level. Ranged enemies flood your screen and even 2 plinkys can be enough of an annoyance to loose you some health. if you are going in with a range class with aiming abilities(think the ranger but there’s more later on) use your keyboard and mouse to aim. 90% of the time controller is a way better experience for platforming and control but aiming your bow with your mouse increases your accuracy by so much. Leather is ridiculously good armor once you get 4 pieces. The unity bonus give you 50 extra resolve at first so as long as you are able to wield 4 pieces and be chubky(+50 resolve) you actually get (+100) resolve. This is huge if you are an artifact gremlin because it means as you level up both your equipment load and the armor you will be getting more resolve and therefore more artifacts. Additionally armor is just really good because it buffs your health, damage, and blocking abilities. While leather has the lowest buffs it’s dirt cheap and you make up for it with the extra artifacts Final tip, if you see a chance to break the game do it. The ranger can hold themself in air by shooting straight down rapidly and they have an ability to create a platform mid air. This gives you access to areas you should not be able to go to way earlier in the game which speeds up grinding a lot.
@@ShuffleFM yeah! You're definitely ahead of me. Love the game but have not had much time to put in it with the end of the semester and prepping to teach summer classes
Thanks for the video bud. Was excited to finally delve into this game but the over complexity of all the content within was a bit overwhelming (in a good way) lol.. Your tutorial helped a lot! Stay awesome Shuffle!
Took a chance on buying the game for my Switch. This is such a great game! There’s a need of patience and a creative mind. There’s skill involved but thanks to the roguelike mechanics and the accessibility settings I know I’m gonna be enjoying coming to back this game from time to time. Thank you for the tips!
Bruh, how did I only find out yesterday that this was even out. Much less that it has been out for nearly a year! Big gamer and would figure I'd have known. Really want this game to do well but am seeing a lot of people say they had no idea this was out.
I just picked up this game it's way more fun than I thought it was going to be, I actually uninstalled it a few months ago cuz I didn't think I liked it but after giving it a chance it's awesome. Thanks for the video it definitely gave me some insight into how to build my character better.
I just started this game and It is fun and I also want to break my controller... But I have been getting into these kinds of games like, Dead Cells and Trinity Fusion etc... I will get BETTER! lol. Thanks for the review. 👍👍
"try and play the classes you don't like" , man i was having some serious problem beating Irad and there appeared for me to choose Bard which doesnt suit my playstyle, but i just went with it cause it was my lowest level class and i wanted to lvl it up, got to Irad and absolutely massacred him. Didn't even get to half health, Bard's playstyle of always being on the air and aoe attacks are so good against Irad
I'd never recommend getting the blessing of life. You take 132 damage and on a majority of playthroughs I don't get 132 life worth of health drops in clearing around 3 levels. (I usually quit after 3 levels because the game is unplayable after about 15-20 minutes) I'd recommend it if you had vampirism or are using the chef...
@@ShuffleFM haha, fair enough. And it is only a screenshot. I just got to this boss actually. I suppose any boss in this is only as late as you want it to be. I'm at about level 110 now, but I've been taking it slow and concentrating on one biome at a time.
