Actually I'm referring to the post level 15 lobbies. I don't like noob stomping for the fun of it. And I wasn't a fan of getting steamrolled while I was learning the game. The fights feel more balanced and rewarding. I still think they have a ways to go to make the game more accessible and appealing to new/casual audiences but a great step in the right direction.
I just don't think the game is big enough for player splits like this. But I am in Australia so I've been in game before this update where the lobbies did not fill at certain times of the day. Now it's more consistent.
Sure, but as much as a lot of sweaty players would like to believe they should be catered to, you have to make the game appealing to new players, or the community will fall, and in the medium to long term there will be a lot less players to queue with in general.
@@drowzy2309 This isn't about catering to one playerbase. Regardless of your skill level, I would consider being able to get into a lobby fast, and start playing fast to be of a higher priority. Even though many games I play do eventually fill, they take longer to fill. I would be more on your side if you couldn't grab a m8 with heaps of gear, bring it into a game, drop it for your lvl 1 character, and make it out. I was in one game with some sweat wearing a full set of ruby silver because some people will do everything in there power to ruin peoples day. If they really wanted to implement this, they could have instead limited the gear rarity you could bring in, or made it so lvl 1's could join a team with 15 plus players. What they have now feels half arsed.
I think they simply went with the easiest adjustment possible but all in all reality it really needed to be hooked to your level of Kit not so much as the level of the player
Literally my friends and I have been dropping full kits to each others low level characters and stomping below level 15 lobbies sorta just to show it still doesn’t work.
Liking and subscribing mostly BECAUSE you're somebody who's in the upper echelons of skill who isn't whining about the change and sees it for the benefit that it brings. You watch people like spudhunter react and it's literally incessant crying about not being able to make "content" stomping timmies while in full purples. Whereas you're going "yeah, game's more fun now".
The lobbey style is great, but I'm a bit ass mad about losing my only +2 healing item to a couple teamers in the goblin caves before work. Ranger barb with a small circle at the end. Nothing i could do but throw spells while the ranger pings me from the other side of swarm.
ive been seeing only geared ppl in tghe under lvl 15 lobbys bc ppl are mostly running ct in the under 15 lobbys bc of all the bots so almost every game ive played i just camp ct and get some easy capes and gear or die either way its a a good way to get good loot bc most ppl who make new characters for ct running usually dont expect to get jumped in these bot lobbys
I thought this too till i noticed and realised it gives people and oppurtunity to punish new players even harder by passing a friend a full set on level 1 character protect them to get out so they can use rubysilver vs new characters. Better to just separate Traders and non Traders
This update was much needed. Was tired of spawning into games with higher chances of guys with blues and purples when I had starter gear or a few greens.
@@jimz1024 Doesn't really seem to be the case in my lobbies, haven't run into the gear dropping people that say they have their buddies drop them full purple sets. And even if I do, pre 15 lobbies are way easier and skill based than the previous normal lobbies where one full purp team would be steam rolling all the grey-white gear teams every game. This system will only get better over time too as they make good gear harder to get. Right now the result is high gear players fighting high gear players, so a lot more of that gear is going into the abyss when only one player survives and has to carry one friend's loot, leaving the other four unlooted as the swarm takes it all
Good now they just need to improve gear drops/consistency in order for newer players to even have a chance in 15+ lobbies. Or just remove shitty grays.
Crypts are already being farmed by smurfs. NA lobbies are filled with people that are lvl 5 with full blues and some purps. I suspect they get gear from their mains/ friends in one game, get them to extract with said gear then run train in pre- 15 lobbies. Disgusting
These 15 plus lobbies are full of lobsters and i have nothing to run we cant make it out at all and if we do its all 20 g worth of trinkets makes it very difficult to get anywhere in the game
I think most of the ppl who don't want a gear score or match making are probably just buying gold and juicing up to roll regular lobbies. It's the only reason I could think of.
lol.. all this patch up date did is allow high level long time players to make a new player and troll new players that just started like me.. i have been getting farmed since i started this game yesterday.... dont believe any of this.. if your new,,, there is no time to learn.. you will get trolled
@MGE Gibs .... i am sorry....Ironmace wanted the result you are preaching, but its purely goblin caves and placebo. THE REALITY is.... now people have a way to smurf. and they do this by going on 2 low lvl chars and 1 high lvl... the high lvl buys gear and brings it in for 1 match. if they surivve...the 2 low lvls now have full kit. Now all they have to do is bring in 1 kit for the last guy once he switches char... and BAM you have a full group with full HR gear for normals + you are VS noobs and nakeds. Easy bossfarming in normals. I am already meeting people with unique gear 60 % armor cleric + fighter comps with ruby silver... and they are lvl 5-10.
