If I want to use this machine for general recreation, firewood gathering with trailer, and snow plowing…would you recommend 570 or 850 model? Firewood has some modest inclines of about 150-200 yards to climb Thanks for your response
What i don't understand is why only one colour option for the 850 and the 1000 touring models?. Like the 1000 but don't really want a white atv. I think Polaris dropped the ball on that, unless I'm missing something?
I haven't tried to put larger tires on a touring before, so I cant tell you an exact number but from my experience you can go with a 2" larger tire and be safe usually. My two cents worth on larger tires is if you try to go any bigger than 2" the offset on the rim changes a lot of characteristics as well. Also the machines were not designed for the stress a larger tire puts on the machine and parts tend to wear out faster.
