I think super sub takes this pedri to meta status for second half but foden looks beastly. I have the hole player RMF Foden from last year and he might be better
I think meta might be a bit of a stretch due to all the epics and big times being in the game, but especially for those who don't pay as much, I agree that Pedri could be a relevant option. He might not have the booster as often though, that could be a problem.
Definitely works fine as SS, totally agree! If he consumes too much stamina for you as AMF, you could always sub him off towards the end if you have a decent backup.
Pepe could you please make a video about defense. From beginner to profi and show us when to press on what and when not. That will be very kind. That will help your channel too. If you make such video i will share it every where. Thank you very much.
I actually began sorting some defensive footage a few days ago, as I've been planning to make such a video for quite some time already. I'll probably have a bunch of other videos before it but it should be done some time in the future as long as I have enough footage. About your question, never press directly towards an opponent that is facing you but isn't close to you, because then he'll double touch past you or just turn around his own axis and let you run past. Think of it like this: The longer your path of pressing is, the easier it is for your opponent to prepare to pass you. There are a few exceptions though: If the ball is in the air and you know your opponent has no reason to head it, you can press so your player immediately acts once the ball comes down. This situation sometimes arises after corners. For non-corners when your opponent actually has the opportunity to head you could press from further away to let him think you're coming close, then super cancel and move your player between the opponent and where he wants to head the ball to intercept it. Many people won't expect this. Another instance where you could press for longer is when your opponent is running forward facing your goal and your player is parallel and close enough. Provided your player is fast enough, he'll simply take the ball from the opponent then. Be careful when the other player is ahead though, then he could double touch block into you and increase the distance between his and your player this way. If the opponent turns away from you, it's best to stop pressing and slowly try to cover passing lanes.
@@PESPepe Thank you pepe for taking time to write this nice answer. Please make you defense Video for Noobs too. Please explain when to press on Match up and when to press on presure and when not to press. Thank you very much bro.
Don't worry, the first part of the video would contain the defensive controls and when you use which of them and how. Match-up is pretty much used when intercepting passes or blocking shots. You have to be a bit careful though, because around your box, your player sometimes slows down when holding it, so if your opponent starts sprinting, he could get a small lead over your defender and shoot.
