I ponied up and blew my wad on the full stainless steel double black diamond. This will be my first real nice bar, and after testing it at Home Gym Con, I knew I had to have it.
@@NoFate247 My power rack is blue uprights w/white cross members, so I ordered it in white Cerakote. I have the Double Black Diamond bar coming in blue Cerakote. I think those get released late Aug.
I have the BOS Bare Naked power bar and ISF deadlift bar and love them both! With all the other bars costing twice as much as what I have, I just feel that those bars aren't twice as better.

What kind of Colorado did you order? Do you know if REP has offered cerakote before? What do you think about cerakote these days? Saw your synergee cerakote video…use it much ? How’s it holding up? Blemishes? I’m afraid of worrying about babying a barbell for blemishes Haha that was a lot of question marks
I got the cerakote Colorado bar. I don't believe they've ever done cerakote before. Liked the Synergee Cerakote but had to sell it to make room for more gym equipment. It held up ok while I had it. Def. different "levels" to cerakote with some companies doing better than others. If you're worried aobut blemishes go SS.

@@NoFate247 thx...been using a rogue red cerakote ohio bar at my work gym. I guess I'd mostly be using the cerakote bar for presses (not pulls) like bench , front squats and overhead presses so don't need tooo much knurl. decisions decisions.
I’m posturing to make room for a red double diamond . Something mental about using a red shaft on heavy lifts from experience…not sure what it is…but I like it. Have you ever lifted with a nice red barbell?
I don't collect barbells. I don't really see the need to. I have an olympic bar and a power bar. However, if I did collect barbells, I really like that TITAN bar.
I am in the market for a deadlift bar and Hades has my eye. Helios is another interest that I don’t need, but would love to have in my gym. Hades is a most likely buy and Helios is a possibly buy. I am satisfied with my Rogue stainless power bar, so I am not in the market for one.
That titan bar is giving me flashbacks to the disaster that was the midas bar from fraud sport. I've yet to handle a rep fitness bar that I liked for the money. There is currently no reason to buy anything other than an ohio power bar. It's better than everything else on the market for that kind of money.
Funny cause when I saw the Moby dick bar I am like please don't be like the midas bar! There is something to be said for getting an Ohio power bar, haven't heard any real complaints about that tried and true bar
I think a lot of people will buy REP’s new bars because they have a lot of fanboys, but to be honest, they’re not really compelling for the price. You can buy American made versions of those bars from Rogue that are proven to be good for not much more. So if you’re going to go with imported bars, you might as well go for something cheaper unless you just want a cheaper deadlift or squat bar and at least with a deadlift bar, you can still find a proven imported option that’s cheaper in ISF and maybe some others. Honestly it seems like the contract ended with their old supplier that made their old bars (Sabre, Deep Knurl, etc.) so they’re just using this new opportunity to over market and overhype. For remakes of what they already have, they aren’t much better than what they already have/had. Mostly just different. For the net new bars, there are just better options for the price. Pass from me, clearly.
I do agree if their prices get too close to similar American made offering, then you should go American. Rep's options do come close to Rogues offerings. I can't speak to the quality of rep since I haven't even gotten a chance to touch them
@@NoFate247 I’m sure the bars will be a good but their current bars are great so I doubt they’ll be vastly superior, at least when we’re talking about Colorado vs. Sabre and Black Diamond vs. Deep Knurl. I do appreciate REP marketing everything the way they do and when the product is a home run like the Ares or Athena, it looks great. But when they’re hitting singles and doubles (again, not bad products but not home runs either) like with these bars and some other products, the marketing feels more cringey.
Every bar you covered is fascinating. If Titan can deliver it in good working order, the Mobey Dick Power Bar looks super cool and is priced pretty well. Also, it is cerakote so way cooler (don’t @ me Brandon 🫶). The REP squat and deadlift bars are cool, and I love their endcaps. The 29mm TPB is my favorite release!!! Exciting times!
How did you get 10% off at titan? I usually try to find random coupons online but nice that they sent one to you. I want the moby dick bar solely because its price point and cerakote finish.
They randomly send them out to people who bought in the past but haven't in a while. I got it like 4 months ago but never used it. Came through via email
