DS2484 is a great part, nice to offload all the 1-wire timing to a purpose built chip. I’ve used the older version and it’s much more reliable than bitbanging long multi-sensor chains! Not to mention 5v 1-wire with 3.3v logic supported and built in TVS

DS2484 is also needed for 1-wire on Particle’s Photon2/P2 (Realtek uC) which a has slower GPIO
