Headed to the rim canal system at the north end of lake Okeechobee outside the lock. Did a top speed test with the new 11pitch prop. Might have to pitch up to 12. Then i do some bass fishing

Oh man, this makes me want to upgrade the motor on my 1436 from a 5hp 2-stroke to the new 9.9 FI four... then upgrade it to the 20 later on. No license required, no engine registration/taxes, and still able to get into the hp restricted bodies of water around me. I am only able to do about 12.5mph with me, my son, and cooler/fishing gear.

12.5 sounds like a good speed fully loaded with a 5hp!

@@WeekendPirate It is plenty for now for sure! About 4x faster than my pedal drive kayak was…. And I could cover some ground with that thing in a day of fishing. Remove my 90lb son, and it will probably do 17.

You could probably just get the gearshift/throttle remote so you can do it from the front.

I went from a 10p aluminum to a 11p aluminum. I think I need an 11p stainless or 12p aluminum. Thoughts?

i'm not a prop expert but I like the new boat and the new videos...don't forget to take it to some more sandbar parties!

Just ordered a 11p stainless & a jack plate I have a 15 Suzuki white same year having issues over reving only about 3/4 throttle still have a aluminum 9pitch oem that comes with it I’ll let you know how mine does but was wondering if you were over revving around the same position before with the 10pitch
