I can’t tell you how much I thank God for leaving spaces like this. I spent over 20 years in a church that made you feel less than if you did not have material wealth. 😢
He’s already taken this show on the road. I remember he use to come to my former church and give the same tired message. Everybody was so impressed, My husband and I were not. And that’s one of the reasons it’s my former church
This has been a big issue for me dealing with chronic illness. I was told that if I decree and declare, pay my tithes, praise my way out, and have faith the size of mustard seed that my illness would go away. When I realized that sometimes we must suffer through it, it made me question God and his love for me. I should have been questioning this false doctrine. Im 42, and I'm just now seeing how this false hurt me and other ppl.
Please tell me your real name so that I can pray for you. JESUS is the healer. If HE has healed me over the years HE will also heal you. Stay away from the nay sayers. Be around TRUE BELIEVERS. I stay to myself and just talk to The LORD. I have no time for foolishness. The WORD of GOD is marrow to the bones and it is Bread that feeds us Spiritually. Focus on your healing and pray The Our Father Prayer every morning. Thank HIM for your healing no matter what it seems or feels like. Please tell me your name so that I can stand in agreement with you and keep you in prayer. Amen 🙌🏿 🙏🏾👸🏾
Sometimes it doesn’t matter how much you believe, fast and pray, …the deliverance don’t happen. And, it’s not because you don’t have faith. Some people just plain and simply have to suffer. And yes, some people do struggle their whole life. No matter what.
Bro. Corey... I am so happy you are using your platform to redirect God's people by teaching his word and encouraging us to study for ourselves. A lot of these ministries I am not aware of. Thank you, mn of God for not being afraid to expose them and for being a Watchman on the Wall. God bless and keep you!!🙏🙏
I totally AGREE with You, Pastor Hannah is not a God-called pastor, this is just my opinion. Thank you and Sir Walter Jones for bringing nothing but the unadulterated TRUTH of GOD Thank you, thank you.
Contentment is very important, and it is a learning process. Many pastors and others teach scripture out of context, and the true intent/meaning is out of context.
THANK YOU! My brother, who is a pastor has this mindset. I have talked to him about this a LOT! I have also seen people have issues with God over what these folks promised them through false teaching. It breaks my heart. Recently we were talking sbout God's desire for everyone to have money etc and I asked him " But what if He doesn't bless you with it? Is He still good? Is He still faithful? Is He still God? Is He still worthy of praise if He doesn't give you external blessings?" He couldn't answer other than to shake his head and say "wow! I hadn't thought about it like that"
the word of faith movement made me feel like i didn't have enough faith and that I wasn't believing hard enough to see "breakthrough" in my situation and I'm SO GRATEFUL that God led me out of these teachings and to a church community who teaches the Kingdom. it was a lot of unlearning on my part but I'm grateful
Love these videos, there are so many “lovers of money” in the world and don’t think that they are. As soon as a job puts so much of your focus on the great amount of money you’ll make generally means they don’t care about you so have no problem with using and abusing you because you’re making good money. Big red flag it’s not about the here and now it’s about our eternal life, this one is less than a blink of an eye in comparison. People need to think about that verses how much money and things you have. Just saying.
That was the church that I followed for years until I had a "wake up" moment and left after doing more biblical research on certain topics. I'm happy that I left respectively looking back. Great vibes from the environment but questionable doctrine.
The Disciples they didn't stay stationary for long they traveled to bring God's word...get from behind these pulpits they want people to come to them instead of them going to the people
The man has got it. Corey minor gets it he truly gets it what he gets it the most important message the word he gets the word of God he gets that Christ is enough praise God for this brother he got to many letters in his name but lolo kidding Lord bless you my brother
Thanks for calling out these false Pastors brother Corey, they don’t use scripture they twist it. That’s why I had to leave false Church’s yrs ago when I started studying scripture and the Spirit opened me to the Truth
Exodus Gospel - Exodus 32:25-29 - And when Moses saw that the people had broken loose (for Aaron had let them break loose, to the derision of their enemies), then Moses stood in the gate of the camp and said, “Who is on the Lord's side? Come to me.” And all the sons of Levi gathered around him. And he said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel, ‘Put your sword on your side each of you, and go to and fro from gate to gate throughout the camp, and each of you kill his brother and his companion and his neighbor.’” And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And that day about three thousand men of the people fell. And Moses said, “Today you have been ordained for the service of the Lord, each one at the cost of his son and of his brother, so that he might bestow a blessing upon you this day.”
Proverbs 30 8-9 Remove far from me vanity and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me only food sufficient for me, lest I be full, and deny Thee, and say, “Who is the Lord?”- or lest I be poor and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
I'm beginning to believe all "professional" pastors in "church buildings" are unbiblical and extort from believers. In the few cases that money was collected in the new testament it was given to widows, the poor and orphans. The gospel is freely given and received.
@@ricksonora6656 Believers are the church, not a building. It's not a matter of the "church" I choose, it's a matter of what's written in the bible. Jesus told the apostles to go out with basically the clothes on their backs to spread the gospel, early believers met mainy in homes. Most of what the Christian religions look like today came from Rome, not the bible.
The problem is people don't want to accept that God makes his own choices. When we pray we leave up to God if he wants to do it or not. People making like God always agree with us. He is going to give us whatever we want. His goal is to serve and obey me. That is the main problem. Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. Even with that scripture we will turn it around and make God think how we want. If God doesn't do what i want and do what i say. He is not a loving God.
100% agree I am so sick of these people I won’t call them pastors. Suffering is part of the deal it’s not about money if you’re only faithful when God is blessing you you’re in this walk for the wrong reasons. Not everyone should have a church it is so hard to keep seeing people running to hear this kind of foolishness.
There is a time and season for everything. A time to be born and a time to die. Jesus suffered, are we greater than the master. Jesus said in this life we have trouble. Even Paul asked for the Lord to remove the thorn in his side, The Lord said NO!! But Jesus said I have come to give you life.
We are blessed in Christ Jesus. If having money has anything to do with you thinking, "You're blessed," you are sadly deceived. Now, if you have money, know that it is more blessed to give than receive. And Jesus loves a cheerful giver. ❤
Gods will is whatever is necessary for the development of your character! If you can escape poverty with hard work, than you should. But never sit back, do nothing, and say.. this is just Gods will for your life. Isrealite = those who wrestle with God. Happy wrestling.
I would love to hear your testimony brother. There are a few channels out here that all they do rip everybody tat they don't agree with. You are very different. Let me throw this into the conversation Hebrews 5:8 Though he was the Son of God, He learned obedience by the things which he suffered; This was not about the cross, that event hadn't happened yet. So if the Christ (Jesus) suffered? What makes me think I'm not going to experience some suffering here on earth?
Uhh Brother Corey, did you accidentally edit the lighting settings wrong before you uploaded this video? Other than that, this was a great video nonetheless!
There's a reason why mas0n's favorite bible character is Solomon, the richest man with a lot of excess, but no one seems to want to be like the majority of bible characters who were poor
Unfortunately it's nothing new in the African Pentecostal churches, in particular in Nigeria, where it's being pushed upon members by the so called pastors. It has even crept into wedding vows were for richer or poorer has been omitted
I guess that pastor never read this.... James 2:5 - "Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?"
He actually hear the eord of the Lord - that God was speaking to thru him regarding God enlarging territory. This has been stated quite a bit by a number of Pastors over the years.
What, then, is the proper strategy for ministry on the south side of Chicago and getting people off the streets and into Christ in an area like that? How would you all do it better than Pastor Hannah? Please comment and let me know.
In Mark 11:23-24 says to believe that what he says will happen. Whatever you pray and believe for it, you will receive it and it will be yours. God never sent Jesus to die on the cross for us to keep struggling from lack and sicknesses and diseases. He sent Jesus to set us free from those things that are contrary to the kingdom of God. In Philippians 4:10-14, the scripture was not saying to be satisfied in lack until you leave this world. Paul was saying to be balanced in God's strength whether you are in abundance or not.
Poverty is not God's will. But as a follower of God, you are supposed to take care of your family. That means raising your kids, taking care of your wife, and doing a good job at work.
Stupid people falling for it because that’s what they want and they’re not studying the Bible, which says to avoid these guys; all these people are going to hell!! You cannot worship God and money
Perpetual poverty is a symptom of a derogatory character that is exasperated by mental illness. However at times events in life cause poverty as well but perpetual poverty is also not an honorable blessing from God. The perpetual lust for money is also not a gift of God but the spiritual worship of the idea and the misunderstanding of the power of money.
Lord help him . He’s ridiculous. I have been through every season . And I thank God for everything. People forget God don’t owe us nothing , He don’t have to wake us up in the morning , He don’t have to pay are bills. Nothing !!! So stop begging and asking for things that have no substance . Say thank you Lord for giving me all that I need . Even when we think we need more , trust God And always remember He don’t owe us nothing , and The Lord don’t need to do another thing . We don’t deserve it . But His Grace and Mercy led Jesus to the cross and he was crucified for our sins and He didn’t have to do that , we were never deserving of it. But His love for us outweighed our terrible sins. So just say thank you. I’m sick and tired of this nonsense and all this pop up shop churches playing with my God and lying on His name . Stop 🛑
Its also not Gods that anyone should perish and all should come to the knowledge of the truth but guess what....many will perish and not come to the knowledge of the truth
So in heaven people be struggling? If struggling was God's will heaven would also have struggles. I dont agree with the sermon but struggling is not God's perfect will, its after sin God mentioned struggle to the woman and man. Sin is the cause of struggles people on earth have enough resources so everyone can have something. Plus where do you find these videos? The more we lift up false teachers the more we undermine the entire church. You guys need to post good sermons along with bad sermons if so-called RU-vid creators only do critiques of bad sermons it will appear no preaching is good
Did you forget about Paul's struggle??? And God allowing him to go through that to show His strength in Paul's weakness??? That's New Testament by the way. So yes we will struggle, but that's more opportunities to lean on our Heavenly Father.
That’s right bro. Corey, get’em, get’em all. Lol. Paul tells us to be content. I don’t have a lot, but I’m content. He’s another one preaching the WRONG GOSPEL. This false teaching must stop now!! This is sad😢😢😢.
Everyone being rich is not God’s Will! God’s Will is that we get to know and live for Him, lift up Jesus Christ for others to be saved, do Kingdom work, reverence and serve Him. He will take care of every need we have! People need to read the Word for themselves, learn how to be Spirit lead and ask God for discernment! These so-called preachers are going to answer to God for this, it’s going to be ugly!
It's NOT new🤨 it's ALWAYS been God's plan for his children to prosper 😉and those that try to stop and block our blessings may he punish them immediately amen 😘🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Pastors need to get a regular job and be like Paul, so they can relate to , people. they were not out in the streets during the Covid lockdowns! Too soft
God does NOT desire poverty for children. He is our SHEPHERD. He protects and provides. You cannot preach a poverty gospel. If He is our source and lacks nothing than poverty has a purpose and is not a destination
Forgive me, but I am kind of confused with this particular video correction. So are you saying it is God’s will that we stay impoverished are in lack? I truly understand that it is not his biblical salvation purpose to make us all earthly rich. But there are too many places in the Bible that give us example that it is the Lord‘s will by faith that we are prosperous. Some may be more impoverish than others. I believe God is the example of prosperity and wealth. I believe when he raptures his church and we reside with him you will see the full example of wealth and prosperity (beyond earthly wealth). People believe Jesus was not rich because he appeared to be poor. But Jesus was only poor in heart. He said I have food that you know not of. His wealth was plainly hidden from this world. I guess what I’m saying is I believe this message needs to be balanced on both sides. Because in the end we can’t say that it is the Lord’s will for us to be poor and broken. Just because God permitted someone else to suffer a certain affliction he may not have that same will for us (in all cases). I believe it all comes back to us asking the Lord in faith. We have not because we asked not. Once we asked the Lord we find out if it truly is his will or is this an obstacle that he desired us to ask him to remove. I can’t hate on a faith preacher that may preach that it is not the Lord‘s will we suffer our whole life. That God is only good for salvation, but he’s not a present help in a time of trouble. To me, God is more.
Where do people come up with these lies? When Jesus clearly said The poor you will always have with you! Y’all study the Word with Holy Spirit teaching you, for yourselves❤
HI sir. This verse of scripture is about money. Having enough and not having enough lets us see that God is still sufficient. This bum preacher does not have a job and therefore can not exercise faith or contentment. Thanks Corey for letting the world see the emptiness of the American "black" church.
If your Gospel won't preach to a paralytic committed to a life-long low fixed income, then it's NOT the Gospel! If it won't preached to an impoverished 3rd world country with no access to clean water...then it's NOT the Gospel! If it won't preach to someone w/ Life in Prison (No Parole), then it's NOT the Gospel!
The Bible tells us it's nearly impossible for the rich to enter into the kingdom of HEAVEN. So I would think the last thing God would want for his children is to be filthy rich. TC
Greedy people put money first in their lives. Their is nothing "spiritual" about money. It is a creation of this world. God knows his children's hearts. If they are putting the things of this world first he won't bless them. And I think anyone who says God wants Christians to be "rich", "wealthy", is foolish. The Apostles who walked with Christ, and all of the Disciples who followed after never concerned themselves with money. God already knows what you need. A home, income, food, and a car. Why would he even consider blessing someone so they can be extravagant and excessive? That just sounds dumb to me.
