The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force has issued new guidelines for prostate cancer screening. It says men between the ages of 55 and 69 should talk to their doctors about getting the blood test that looks for markers of the disease. The panel had previously advised against routine screening. Dr. David Agus joins "CBS This Morning" from Los Angeles to discuss the guidelines.

I live in the UK I get tested every 12 months as there's a history of prostate cancer in my family. even if you have no history get the test done, if it positive you have more time to get the cancer or the cause of the inflammation treated, its not worth taking the risk that you'll have no problems.

Mainstream media needs also to report alternative research that for example says the environment within which genes exist is more important than the gene. I.e if you watch what you eat, limit toxins and maintain a positive outlook to life your genes can't do their predisposed thing...those illnesses
