So cute and so little!! The puppy gets scared of running water at first. Add a little water in the sink with plug in, then use a cup to pour the water over him. That was how I did the little baby puppy and baby Persian kitten.

Ermm Gina that pup Polo needs a short warm bath and out fast first time too much shivering as he is scared and frightened.The pup needs dried off in a soft towel fast I wouldnt have put him back in for the conditioner you forgot first time.So hope he isnt too frightened next time around.I had a big rough collie for over 16 yrs dhe used to try and jump out of the bath ! Good luck raising these pups but dont wash them like your chickens Gina they r Kive ! Carolina in Spain.

A plastic dishpan with a tee towel in the bottom will be MORE comfortable (not hard), less overwhelming and anxiety-producing. Holding him up to the camera made him cold. I would be too! Hopefully, you researched and discovered there are practical ways to keep the little one clean and "fresh" between "baths" which need not be as frequent as people think especially for such a small dog.
Gina you have blessed my heart I'm a dog lover I have been through all of this my grandmother used to raise poodles I used to feed them from the womb from a bottle when the mothers didn't want them isn't there something in the Bible that talks about we have dominion over animals I feel blessed today and you have no idea

My 13-year-old dog got sick last week. Had a little bump that suddenly grew huge. Had to have it removed. cost me a grand. Yes, a GRAND. hope he lives longer is all I can say.

Shower Time Handy Dandy Tip: place a towel on the bottom of the skink or tub so they have something secure to grab onto. It's ok to put them into a filled tub the running water scares them. as well as they won't get chill when they are bathing. (((((((Wobbs and Ruff Ruff Hugs))))))) to the little Polo!
What a sweet puppy for a sweet family. I sometimes ended my cats baths with a plugged sink and the watter running so they are standing and their belly gets a good rinse.
GOD BLESS YOU; I am not a dog person, but you handled them with such care, and as long as they are small like that I MIGHT consider; BUT when they start growing I will be looking for someone to take them off of my hands, so I might as well not start!
Gina your new puppies are so adorable and cutie pies. I love dogs they are so sweet and loyal to their owners. I have two dogs and they are my family babies. My doggies are spoiled and playful dogs. Dogs are so shy when it comes to taking a baths especially when their puppies. We take our two dogs to the groomers and they love their groomer. We uses the same groomer each time we take them to get groom and nails trimmed. Gina you have two cutie pies...they are super cute. Thanks for sharing your new addition to your family. Those babies will be just fine...all dogs shiver some when they get wet. They were also probably a little scared, but they are now part of a wonderful family.
