Somehow this isn't getting a lot of press even though every review I've read has something good to say about it. They do say it should be priced at about $100 cheaper though.

Thanks Mike for another review, much appreciated. I have to say though, whats up with the headband, looks like it doesn't belong to the ear cups. Sub $1000, they don't list the price on their page. Spider senses are going off. The cups and pads look awesome but the headband makes me laugh and a bit sad that they are selling it to us.

I have a Shure srh1540 and I love them.. they just sound very detailed and relaxed at the same time. I like detail and spaciousness but am not a fan of heavy hitting/intense sound. How do these sound? You think I'll like them?

I want to hear these! I have some Quad 11L2 speakers and would love to try their beloved Electrostat speakers (but I don't have enough room in my small listening area). Do you think these sound better than the Audeze LCD-2 (Fazor)? What about weight wise compared to the LCD-2? I sold off my LCD-2 due to the weight.
