In maybe a hundred years, I'm sure many labels will become less relevant but some communities will continue to remain pretty much intact while others undergo changes. It's more useful to look at communal inertia to understand rates of in-group marriage vs. outgroup marriage. Every culture and ethnic group you can divide into some communities with high outgroup marriage rates who will all contribute to the blurring of races but another component will have high inertia for religious, political, social, economic, ethnic, or cultural reasons. Many African Americans, Jews, Amerindians, Mennnonites, and rural white Americans will have a component that will stay in the community even over generational time as a marriage is a marriage and people cluster with people who they can understand.

ok, this is my new favorite channel. I love how you chimed in on the idea that Homo sapiens might diverge into different species at the end, that won't even be genetically compatible. I have always believed we were already in the process of doing this prior to the age of mass transit when we see things like the Rh factor.
@@M16A1-nw4jy rh factor is when 2 different people are not compatible by blood type. And without modern day science, if 2 people who try to reproduce fall into this category, it results in a miscarriage. ie, anyone who falls into this category can't reproduce for the most part unless the female gets a shot in early pregnancy.
@@M16A1-nw4jy no problem. I'm actually the result of rh factor. My mother had to get a shot when she got pregnant with me. I would have been miscarried if she hadn't. In other words, my parents were not genetically compatible, and I am only here because of modern day medicine.
00:04 - "Reproduction is not biased, it doesn't care about morals or ethics or politics, and it isn't selective outside of dominant and recessive traits"; There are historic social taboos against incest (genetic proximity), bestiality (genetic distance), and miscegenation (genetic distance), indicative of reproduction being a a) replication, and b) fitness maximisation process for any given genome, coupled with c) social contract (one cannot expect their tribe to invest resources in genetically distant or unfit members). We also observe consistent discrimination towards intra-population couplings (genetic similarity), despite "unbiasing" attempts to the contrary in modern/western media. a) Hamilton's rule as extended to lineages should theoretically affect reproductive selection (mate preference): the relative genetic distance between two persons affects evolutionary incentive to invest a) genetically and c) monetarily in others, not just their b) fitness. For example, two members of a particular race (population) may be genetically (and therefore altruistically) equivalent to first/second cousins, as compared to members of another race (population). a/b) There is a trade-off between maintaining a full copy of one's genome per replication (asexual reproduction) [maximising replication], and being able to diversify their genome by shuffling variant alleles/mutations between like organisms (sexual reproduction) [maximising fitness], providing protection against extinction (www.nature.com/articles/nature14419), and arguably accelerating speciation under conditions of high environmental stress (death). b) With respect to fitness maximisation, there is a further trade-off between risking an accumulation of deleterious mutations (genetic proximity) [e.g. recessive traits] and risking the loss of advantageous mutations (genetic distance) [e.g. complex non-additive/epistatic effects]; cf the evolution of ashkenazi intelligence through strong ingroup selection (note this high intelligence is linked with recessive deleterious mutations also). c) In males, their short-term reproduction strategy isn't strongly selective outside of fitness ("dominant and recessive traits"), since they are not limited by carrying capacity. Only under conditions of limited resources and commitment (long-term reproductive strategy: paternal investment) should males become particularly selective of genetic proximity. Moreover, when they are bound by a social contract, they are socially motivated to select a mate of relatively close genetic proximity (or all members of the tribe must be allowed similar levels of diversification in their offspring).
@Excalibur The European crusaders beat Arabs in Jerusalem, hundreds of miles away from Europe. They would have been able to beat Zulus and samurais too. And of course we must not forget the vastly outnumbered Spartans who so valiantly fought the thousands of Persians.
Well if you consider Neolithic ancestry as “Middle Eastern,” then sure, but all Europeans have varying degrees of that Neolithic farmer ancestry, but more so in Southern/SE Europe, which would be Italians, Greeks, etc. It has much less to do with more recent historical invasions like from Carthaginians or Arabs/Moors, who had much less of an impact on the gene pool. In any event, Middle Easterners are still “Caucasian” if you will and genetically (and phenotypically) cluster with Europeans way more than any other human population group. So to sum it all up, the vast majority of ethnic Italians look very European, just with a higher percentage of darker hair and eyes than what you’d see in Northern Europe.

8:46 that’s an interesting point that I’ve noticed. Social media makes everyone start acting the same. Used to be you get a different dialect, dance, way of dressing etc., from say NY vs LA and in between...now everyone tries to be the same. It’s weird.
The process began with widespread literacy and newspapers. Radio and then television then accelerated it, social media is just the icing on the cake. Even 30 years ago I found vox pop pieces on the television in which people from Liverpool or some parts of Scotland were interviewed were very difficult to understand. While people from those regions still have distinct accents, it is much rarer for me to hear ones that are completely incomprehensible. The same thing is true of travelling interstate in Australia. When I was a child and even a young women, going interstate meant new road rules, different coloured road markings, different brands of food and drink. There was even the unique square milk bottle in one part of South Eastern Queensland (in those days milk bottles were glass and returned to the milko to be re-used) and milkos in other parts of the country wouldn't take the square bottles off you. These days you don't even get that much sense of travelling to a foreign country when you go overseas. The style of road signs, the supermarkets, etc are all the same. On the plus side, the growing uniformity has led to some decidedly unpleasant and anti-social behaviours becoming less fashionable. I can live without people chewing with their mouths open or spitting in the street or not using deodorant. However, the social media can be a bit of a double-edged sword. Misogyny and racism are on the rise, encouraged by some sleazebags who are active in social media. Similarly, there are those who use social media to peddle ignorance (anti-vaxxers, flat-earthers, young earth creationists and so on). Also on the negative side, I think we are losing languages, dialects and customs and that makes us all poorer.
@@resourcedragon honestly you're right. I really think a lot people overlook the media idea and how cultures interchanged with different ideas, resources, and information for over thousands of years. Interesting video! Speaking of humans evolving differently in other planets, I did watch a Star Wars theory video a while back about how the different non-human alien species came to be in the lore and it suggests that they came from humans migrating to different planets and that might be somewhat true in our reality if it does actually play out many generations from now.

Beautiful! You can mark that one "complete" on my usual list of reiterations lol. Here's a few more ideas: 1. In the same regard, asking what a Pan-Earth ethnicity would like would fit into this. 2. Do a video on the ethnic groups of the rebooted "Battlestar Galactica" pre-Cylon attack in the 12 colonies of Kobal. I always found that fascinating because each of the ethnic groups is based on a planet that has a name from the Greek zodiac, and the ethnic groups are named from that. They also take aspects of Earth cultures and re-brand them with different names that fits their civilization. I won't give out to many spoilers of why this is. Even if you didn't like the show, this aspect of it is fascinating. I suggest doing this in the same manner as how you did the "Game of Thrones" universe map. *In addition, if you wanted to do more on fictional genres, another good one that represents a hypothetical Earth is Jules Verne's "The Time Machine", especially in relation to this video! 3. What if the Earth were inverted in geography so that wherever there is land, there is water, and the tallest point is the lowest point and vice versa? While it'd be a stretch to say we may even be able to breath on a world like this, what would human civilization of "Inversia" look like? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yl-6-Yzt--A.html 4. While I am not suggesting doing this idea as an actual "what if?" video, the theoretical scenario would present some interesting analysis. You might also want to do a thought analysis on the short lived TV show "Terra Nova". (Note: I do not take the "dinosauroid" presented with scientific legitimacy; however, I am suggesting this because this could lead to brainstorming of some fascinating topics!) -ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yTnzYeKZQrI.html -en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stenonychosaurus -blogs.scientificamerican.com/tetrapod-zoology/dinosauroids-revisited-revisited/ 5. *Un-contacted peoples of the world beyond the Sentilinese. In addition to the Amazon, Papua New Guinea, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, are there any un-contacted people in the Congo River Basin? 6. What if extinct language families survived to today and became their own nations? This would be in the same format as the "what if these languages united into a country" videos.

In brazil they mixed since the colonization, coz portugal had a small population, so they had to mix with the locals in order to colonize, so we are the result of 500 years of mixing, what can happen to other locals of the world in something like 100-150 years coz now its easier to go from one place to another

Every race has its own land, it should be that way and they should stay there, no division, no rebellion, no violence, just look at Japan, a very homogeneous nation, and a peaceful and great one at that, diversity is difference, difference creates issues between each other, wanting to live in peace is not racism.
The modern Japanese are a mixture of Jomon and Yayoi, Jomon came from Siberia and had an affinity to the Himalayas, Yayoi is more related to East Asia, they are homogeneous because they have created a complete fusion of races, but they are not a pure race.
Again, like you said, barring cataclysm, I think the biggest influence on future human divergence besides migration will be birth rates. We all know that Europe and East Asia have very low rates but the rate is trending lower and lower across most regions including Latin America and the Middle East. This means that the future biggest genetic contributors to the global gene pool, and possibly the most economically dominant as well, will likely be those who are as far removed from this trend as is currently possible, namely places like Sub-Saharan Africa and the Philippines.
Africas birth rate is decreasing not as much as Asia but it is decreasing and will level of before end century, China and India alone nearly have 3x the whole population of Africa, along with the rest of the Asian countries I still think that it’ll take awhile before Africa ever passes Asia and possibly may not.likely it may remain relatively equal in the long run, cause Asia is significantly larger and Africa is growing fast but is already decreasing so will likely be equal contribution.

Euro-african already exists. Most African Americans are mixed and so are the "Coloured" groups on the African continent. Coloured here is not as derogatory as in America but signifies a distinct people group of mixed heritage and culture. Edit: As for Afro-Asian, the AmaXhosas have a clan known as the AmaMolos who are descendants of Chinese merchants/ explorers who shipwrecked on the South Eastern coast of Africa. There are tribes in Kenya and/or Tanzania (up the East Coast of Africa) whose Asian ancestors suffered a similar fate and/or chose to settle down. With Chinese recent business explorations in Africa there are bound to be Sino-African progeny although their identity won't be tied to the established Sino-African tribes and clans. The Euro-Asian admixture... Look at the Siberians and people along the Russian-Chinese border. There's the Mongol border too. The Anglo-Indian mixed communities in India also formed their own identity based on their European heritage. And the reality is that wherever territory is obtained through war there is bound to be offspring of mixed blood. Where territory is acquired through trade, there is bound to be offspring of mixed blood. Wherever humans migrate, mixture will happen unless old cultural identities and customs are strictly adhered to (us vs them mentality). This is easy to do across colour lines but not so across ethnic lines (among people of the same skin color and features; because that's what race is: an attempt at systematically categorising humans based on their skin tone and features).

And they start with Mullato people meaning they were already mixed. My European heritage wasn't due to rape as these mixed race people were married 4.) No confirmation of any full blood Africans born outside of the United States. ( All my ancestors were born in the US) So for me to claim African heritage would be insulting as I having nothing to claim other than someone telling me I just because I'm Black. I'm very proud to be Black. I do not hate Africans( I love them very much) nor do I deny that I descend from them.... I'm 10+ generations removed from it as well as my European and Native American heritage as well. I claim my Blackness Because that's what I know...All of the beautiful struggle it is.
5aral we are superior and that’s why you’re jealous and you just admitted it. Right now the tide is turning and we’re waking up and that’s why spineless cowards like you are mad. We will defeat you. There isn’t going to be a blob race with a low iq like you.
Mixed human here 🙋🏻♀️ My dad is “Hispanic” (which isn’t a race as you said in the video, thank you for that because some people don’t actually realize that, and my mom is white) I am: •••80% European••• -50%northwestern European (from my mom) -30%Southern European/Spanish (from my dad) •••15% Native American Indian••• (From my dad) •••And the other 5% is a mix of south Asian, middle eastern, and African. (Also from from dad)••• Sorry I just find thus stuff fascinating and I love the mix I am! ☺️💚 no one can ever tell exactly what I am and I love it!
@@ChristianDoretti So You're saying my race doesn't exist? There are literally all types of people in South Africa. Do Some Research Buddy. Don't go on the internet and argue about stuff you clearly know nothing of.
There actually is a lot of evidence that U.S. dialects (both regional and social/ethnic) are still diverging in the vernacular. (I'm counting things like "black culture" vs. "white culture" as ethnicity to differentiate them from race, which I define as socially significant phenotype difference)
Go bake a cookie guy chill out the fun is just beginning. Learn to truly love yourself and the cultures around you and you'll never fear and you will feel true peace and security with life. Don't waste your whole life fighting a race war.
I think both India and China are almost as diverse when it comes to the genetics of their population. The difference would be that the Chinese had a Dominant group i.e. the Han Chinese who managed to assimilate most of the other groups in that country into one unifying Chinese culture. Whereas in India no such group was able to be that dominating and hence there are both genetic and cultural differences between various groups in the country. One of the reasons for this can be that India wasn't really one united political entity for most of it's history(only the Mauryans, Guptas, Mughals and the British Raj were able to unite the entire country, with the Guptas and Mughals still not being able to conquer some regions of the subcontinent). Whereas China has been more consistent in having empires that were able to unify the whole country.
China is anything but diverse and multicultural, is that a joke? china is literally an ethnostate, same as south korea and japan. Almost zero genetic variation
@@el_iron_duke China isn't diverse, 90% of the population is Han Chinese. India on the other hand is crazy diverse, even Indians don't fully understand what happened there.
So basically this video is talking about the "future" when this has been happening in Latin America for hundreds of years! 😂 That's why in Latin America nobody is really white, nobody is really black, nobody is really Arab, nobody is really Asian... We are a mix of this beautiful world!
@WhiteNationalist Portugal Bison Yeah, you can see the same in places like Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico and some places in Colombia, they aren't that beautiful as ignorant people say.
WhiteNationalist Portugal Bison someone can look pretty outside and terribly look ugly inside once you get to know their outlook in life, tendencies, behaviors. No one group of people totally look pretty not all Asians look pretty not all blacks look pretty and not all whites look pretty. To you specifically without trying to be offensive only maybe 1% percent of white girls look pretty to me and I don’t think white guys are any different. And maybe in those 1% are arrogant, self centered, self entitled and materialistic. Again I’m not trying to be offensive but you as a self described “white nationalist” I thought you might need to know to be white isn’t automatically qualification of being pretty or handsome. I would choose some black or brown girls over some white girls in a heart beat and vise versa.
Well, my family may have already done that! My father was full Indigenous American of half Comanche (his mother) and half Abenaki (his father), my mother is half Irish, her mother having immigrated here as a teenager and almost immediately afterwards, she married my grandfather, who was Italian with some possible Austrian ancestry in there somewhere. My ex-husband is half Cuban on his father's side, with his grandmother being Afro-Cuban and his grandfather being much more Spanish in his lineage, my ex's mother is German, Irish, and Scottish. My son married a woman who is of almost half Nigerian descent, with some Congolese thrown in from her father, and English, Irish and German from her mother. Hopefully, one of my very racially blended, beautiful, and brilliant granddaughters will fall in love with, oh I don't know, but perhaps someone from Japan or mainland Asia!
Many developed countries are melting pots. Among many races, Mongoloid race is easy to be extinct by interracial marriage ; Eastern Asia ; CN, MN, KR, JP. | Пeрeмога Үкраїнi!
@@sKTkC Everything he said is objectively true and backed up by fact, its merely his opinion that White people should stay with their own.. Maybe you should address what's wrong with his comment and not let your own emotions dictate whether he's wrong or not. Its not exactly that controversial of an opinion anyway when you consider that other groups do it, like Jews for example.
