These wheels are fine if you don't have to deflate the boat after every use. I've got the Waveline DinghyWheeler with the brackets. The flat brackets are mounted to the transom and the wheels just slide into the brackets and are easily removed again to fold up the deflated dinghy back into the bag.
Yeah theres a pin in these wheels too that can remove the wheels completely, sometimes i have trouble trying to lock in and remove the pin, dosent line up always to get it out 🤔😩
It works pretty good where we positioned it, you can see a thicker piece of board on the inside down below the wheels the bolts supplied with it does not go through the thickness of that board only designed to bolt on to transom board and the extra timber along bottom is only designed to support flooring pieces when it sits under it.
Yep we put motor on afterwards and everything was perfect, should of filmed that actually, didnt think of that at time, but yes no issues with them in the way and they can adjust to so many positions 👌
Ours is a 3m got ours for $700 second hand but was still new never used, lucky to find it 😊. They are normally around $1000 for that size, bcf and whitworths have some too a bit cheaper and a smaller size, Big Duck was our choice if couldnt find a nice second hand one👍
