The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has been turning heads since it arrived over a decade ago. For 2024, the compact luxury SUV gets a few visual tweaks and interior updates to keep it fresh, but the overall formula remains the same - a stunner to look at with an upscale cabin and go-anywhere capability from its Range Rover DNA.
Updated Looks, Same Standout Style
The latest Evoque benefits from some modest exterior revisions for 2024. The front fascia receives a new grille design along with updated LED headlights that incorporate a fresh daytime running light signature. The changes are subtle, but they help maintain the Evoque's curvy, dramatic styling that helped put luxury SUV design on a new course over 10 years ago when it debuted.
Posh But Snug Interior
Climb inside and you're greeted by a modern, leather-lined cabin with the latest tech features. A curved 11.4-inch touchscreen now takes pride of place on the minimalist dashboard, housing Land Rover's latest Pivi Pro infotainment system. Most secondary controls have been absorbed into this main display, giving the interior an uncluttered look reminiscent of the Tesla Model 3.
The downside is cramped rear quarters - the Evoque's sloped roofline eats into headroom for taller passengers. Cargo space is also merely adequate at 21.5 cubic feet behind the second row. If you need more room, you'll want to move up to the larger Range Rover Sport or flagship Range Rover.
Refined Yet Spirited Performance
Under the hood, buyers have a few powertrain options ranging from a 246 horsepower 2.0-liter turbo-four to a 296 hp plug-in hybrid setup. The PHEV pairs the gas engine with an electric motor for 37 miles of electric range. Regardless of what's underhood, the Evoque delivers a refined driving experience with plenty of straight-line oomph when you need it.
An available air suspension helps smooth out rough pavement, while retaining its trademark off-road prowess thanks to standard all-wheel-drive and generous ground clearance. The Evoque may never see much more than a muddy trail, but it's comforting to know the capability is there just in case.

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque continues to turn heads and turn drivers onto the brand's blend of luxury and off-road ability, all wrapped in a stylish, fashion-forward package. While not the roomiest or most practical compact luxury SUV, the Evoque makes up for it with its curb appeal and premium vibe. If you want to stand out from the crowd, this little Range Rover deserves a look.
