yo man, big thanks to your lbg build as always because they have never failed me. so far this is my favourite lbg build from you, it made hunts so much easier. this build was so comfortable since i took a year break from playing :). Went from 110-180 mr and 350-450 hr with this one. can't wait for mh wilds.

I got talisman evade extender 2 weakness exploit 2 and 2 1 slot. My spread gun doing 30+ damage per tick. Thank you for the build 🥰

Can you do a good cheesy build with shield Normal Hbg? With the new buff to crouch shot it might be worth to try it.

Since update im still sticking with hbg. Buffed Crouching shoot with pierce 3 is just *chef kiss. Using Cgore hbg for max comfiness. Shield mod + guard5 + embolden2 + Ab7 + Kush blessing 3 + rec speed 3 + tune up 1 + blood lust 1. Super tanky with super human regen + hits like a truck. This my main build for hbg now 😂

I used different pieces and augmented so i was able to get both RF 3, Pierce 3 and Spread 3, ill stay far way until monster is KO then switch to Spread I rarely get hit so i didnt need intrepid, i didnt use WE at all, went Max Might instead and with Daora Soul Jewel 3 for rampage i am max infinity all the time regardless of weak spot

Blood lust should be 3 because it has a 1.5 time long recovery period, which means the negative crit has a lesser chance to appear. Negative crit can't be compensated by adding affinity for chaotic weapon

Update - Yep, the Chaotic Gore LBG is superior to Malzeno's as a RF Pierce 2, and Espinas' as a RF Spread 2. Slightly better slots, works amazingly alongside Bloodlust, no deviation, and workable Recoil/Reload. I've never found small clip size to be a huge problem when a gun has moving reload. Alas, it still doesn't dethrone the Garangolm LBG for single-shot Normal 3. I know Normal shot will never be meta, but it's still super-comfy, and you can bring it into almost any hunt and it'll work well enough. You can also use it to heal yourself when you're afflicted with Bloodblight or Blood Rite. Anyway, I managed to pull off this build using the above armor set along with some augments and an Attack Boost 3, Latent Power 2 2-1-0 talisman (listing relevant skills only): Attack Boost 7 Spare Shot 3 (really 5, but the skill caps at 3) Critical Boost 3 Weakness Exploit 3 Pierce Up 3 or Spread Up 3 Reload Speed 3 Recoil Down 3 Rapid Fire Up 3 Latent Power 2 Ballistics 2 Evade Extender 2 Bloodlust 2 Agitator 1 Steadiness 1 Mail of Hellfire 1 Coalescence 1 Burst 1 Intrepid Heart 1

This gun shreds, easily doing 3-4 more damage per tick than the shagaru lbg for me Edit: I just tested my new set and it does 56 dmg per tick on the dummy head :O

Amazing new guide build I had your old Malzeno and this new one did like 500-1k more damage because of my curio crafting which gave me max attack boost

I've rerolled the amor sets and it is by far an amazing build. 10 out of 10

Just made these sets and I'm already seeing great results and having a lot of fun (especially against Diablos who I hate fighting with melee weapons)

Is there any way for me to bring my recoil down from “some”? I already have 3 levels of recoil down

Currently using the same RF Pierce 2 build prior to TU3, which I made for 100% crit (50% on non-weak points) with super lucky augments, and this works WONDERS. Not only does it already synergise with my Bloodlust and allow me to drop my Crit Eye charm for an AB charm, but I can also use both Pierce AND Spread to keep dealing damage regardless of where the monster is. I find that Rapid Fire Up still lets you do a hefty amount of damage with the non-prioritised ammo. I still use Spread on my RF Pierce build to break parts and anomaly cores SUPER fast (e.g. both Somnacanths' arms, both Magnamalos' armblades), and Pierce on my RF Spread lets me cleanse Frenzy from a distance without risking health loss against super aggressive monsters (e.g. Barioth pre-arm breaks, both Rajangs when enraged).

Nice, now I've got a reason to farm Chaotic Gore!

I just made my first pierce LBG (nargacuga) last week n i been doing like 13-20's in damage.. that be some beeg numbers you got going! can't wait!

To help you with the pronunciation of Fäulnis: It's like Coil (-nis), just with the F in the beginning. But dw, your way of saying it wasn't bad

It's wierd but i can fit everything with either att boost 3 and burst 3 or att boost 4 and burst 2. How much burst is needed? Im confused???

Why do u run lv3 reload speed? Isn't lv1 enough for pierce?

Tried this out and this gun easily outdoes the Malzeno LBG. My never favorite LBG now, can bring it to every hunt.

Been thinking. Is max Coalescence worth it over having max attack boost? Im sitting at attack boost 6 and wondering if I should trade out the Chaotic legs for the Shagaru ones. My set is very similar but I use the Risen Kush chest, Goldian arms and Flaming head. I got a wex agument on the Kush chest and a Rapid Fire agument on the Goldian arms so very common skills in the new agument system imo. My talismen is a WEX 2 with one 3 slot and two 1 slots.

Thing about this build is, when the monster is down, you can switch to spread and the damage is still insane... you can switch to any stance like having two builds at once

I got a Rapid fire 2 with a 3 slot and 2 1 slots. So its cool

Built this gun. Went with a Critical Eye 7 and Bloodlust 1 only route. Add the Rampage Deco 3 upgrade to put Kushala Daora Soul. Result? 100% STABLE CRITS as long as you fight the Bloodlust frenzy and win. And keep shooting anywhere to proc Daora Soul's +15% crit bonus. "Weakpoints? Maximum Might? Whassat? I CANT HEAR YOU OVER THE SOUND OF 100% CRIT!" This gun is, quite frankly, illegally broken. Thank god they slapped it onto post-game, otherwise imagine the monsters that will be dying left right and center to this gun's madness.

Dunno... that capacity has been pre sussy on my experience so far. Sure I'm hitting a bit more numbers but I end up reloading more often too with pretty much the same clear times as just vigil kugel with 10 less raw. Here's hoping I get some ammo up in augments I guess.

Still got it wrong, this weapons dual affinity works by doing 2 affinity checks, one for the negative and one for the positive, whichever of the two is succesful will result in the crit or negative crit

wrong info about chaotic gore affinity you have both -20 and +10 active you have a 20 chance for negative crit 10 chance for positive crit 70 chance of no crit, is the most simplest way to explain this, it's always been this way since 4u and gu once you have overcome frenzy the negative affinity get removed and adds to the positive affinity, however you can never remove the negative affinity by using affinity skills, it is always ever present unless you overcome frenzy

I managed to put 3 ammo skill since i have a 3 lvl evade extender and 2 lv of reload speed in my talisman tho i really can't fit 7 lvl of attack boost the dmg is still astounding compared to other rf pierce lbg
