In Sephora they told me they are more of a stain than a lip oil. I got two of them. Hope and honesty and it def leaves a stain which I like so I don’t have to reapply and I can prob just use a gloss over it when the shine wears down
I’m so glad i saw these demo because i dont think i would have gotten stain from the tinted description. I love the shade honesty but I will just be sitting here waiting for something glossy lol
Sofia was just being honest and I appreciate that. These are just glossy lip tints, which are less pigmented than true lip tints, but also less glossy than lip oils. You can find something very similar in Korean drugstore products.
I hear what you are saying! The product description didn’t say these would leave a tint, so I picked a shade that I thought my subscribers would want to see. There weren’t many darker shades and this one is described as a “brown”. I am not confident most of the shades would have been much different. I think this is the kind of formula where I need to get the darker shades cause it’s more subtle
Umm no shade here, but your natural lip color is literally the same color as the lip tint and then you say that it's not pigmented 🤔.. Might've been better if you had chosen a color that isn't the same as your natural lip color. Maybe you'll have the same thoughts, but at least you'd and we'd know if it's actually pigmented or not.. You can't really tell if it's pigmented considering the lip tint is the same color as your lips.
Thanks for the feedback! I think that for those with deeper skin tones or darker lips, there’s really only one color that I could have chosen. The color selection is very mid tone neutral. So perhaps they impart more color on others but hopefully this is helpful for anyone out there with deeper lip tones
Thank you for the comparison with west man biscuit, you just saved me $ 😊The blushes sold out so fast, which I’m ok with, what I’ve learned over the years is they will probably come out in a mini set for the holidays or Black Friday sales, which these last so long I would prefer a mini set anyway! They are both very flattering on you.

I was SO interested in purchasing one of these lip oils but between your review and Amanda Zs where she pointed out that these are not lip oils but more so lip stains, Im trying to resist the urge and skip. It seems like they have a dry down more like a stain vs a lip oil that stays glossy from what I've observed. The blush shade in virtue caught my eye! I have encourage and it's not quite my shade and SO pigmented, this seems more tame for my complexion.
I bought both shades of the blush and they look pretty on my skin tone. I love them. I have really been enjoying what I have from the brand. I also bought a new shade of the bronzer stick. I like that too. It’s not as red. Great review. Thank you
The blush shades look so similar to each other and to other already existing shades. They should bring out something cool toned without looking to dark or too mauvy.
Fantastic review! I love that you test products before reviewing so that you come to the table with application experience. I was looking at the bronzer sticks but I'm going to stick with biscuit 👍

Love your honest review. Thanks for this. I like the rare beauty liquid blushes. I have hope. Very pretty. Might pick up another shade in a peach tone. I decided to skip these lip oils. Nothing special. At 1st I was like ya! Now nah I have a couple Dior Maximizers and a lip oil from BB. I like the WA Biscuit on you better than Bright Side. The warm tone bronzer looks good on you though.

I got the new light bronzer and few lip oils. My experience with the oils was very different! Lol. I had a very long lasting, pigmented stain from each one I wore, in some cases too pigmented! Lol. Lasted through other glosses applied on top later in the day, a full workout and a shower! I find these to have very similar staying power to the Fenty lip stains but with much better colors. Perhaps it’s bc my lips are pigmented but not nearly as pigmented as yours that the stain was so apparent. But if you like the Fenty stains and wanted more colors, look no further folks!
I am a die hard WA Biscuit fan although I did like the Rare Beauty Bronze Sticks but it's still a pass for me. I did buy the blush Virtue and I love it. I have other Rare Beauty blushes, love the formula and the color pay off. The colors looked great on you as well.
I purchased honesty to test, and I love the feel. It does oxidize but feels nice, and it is pigmented. I was looking for something light and nourishing for my lips. I might purchase hope next. I'm liking That new bronzer shade. All the other ones that would be appropriate for me run yellow, which i don't like. I most likely will swatch in store before purchase. The blushes 😬I want both but don't need...thanks for the review
Love virtue on you! The regular blushes I have Joy and hope, they are super pigmented. The new ones seem a bit subdued. Watched many other reviews, the lip oils seem to be pigmented and left a stain. But I’m with you, I wasn't ooh-ing and ah-ing and don’t have the urge to pick up right away
That’s so interesting! I’m going to try more of the darker blushes when I order form the Sephora sale 🙂 maybe I need to try a different color in the lip product? Most of them looked just as light on the site
@@SofiaSeesBeauty try Joy for sure, i think you are gonna love it, given that you are a warm color person. I watched Gigi's beauty and Tania B Wells' reviews, both mentioned the staining. I don't remember what shades they used, it could be darker colors. Nevertheless, I personally am not a fan of lip stains.
Thanks for the review! I love the Rare Beauty liquid blushes but I've noticed that they'll throw out minis in some of their little sets a couple of times a year (they contain about half the product). I can't imagine ever using up even one of the minis where you need so little, so I've been persuading myself to stick to those when they come out to get my hit on this formula. I usually don't like hoards of dinky products, but the full size is just so much product it feels like a waste (as someone with enough blush for several lifetimes). I hear you on the lip oils, but I'm still intrigued and may need to pick up just one... 🤭
Same! I could never use up a full size liquid blush, especially when they're that pigmented! If there's anything else you were looking to pick up from sephora, right now they have a mini rare beauty blush GWP (with $25 order) in the shade Hope. I got the mini GWP before in Grace, and it's super small, but actually perfect lol (at least for me, I usually reach for powder blush, and I have way too many)
this was the video i needed to skip the lip oils 😂. i already have some of the merit lip oils and i’ve come to really enjoy those. they’re very nice to apply and super cute to look at too. i also love the colors they come in and they don’t have a taste or smell! these two rare beauty blushes look less concentrated / more user friendly. the one i tried from the holiday set was really saturated and took more effort to not overdo 😂. i think the brush vs sponge type used also makes a difference. i like the color of WA’s biscuit stick but do wish it was a little less creamy / had better adherence. i’m still eyeing peau de peche highlighter tho 🤪
Yes these blushes are so good! I think maybe I need to wait for deeper colors to be released for the “lip oils” cause apparently people say their are pigmented but I didn’t this so 😅😅
This review was actually super helpful for me. I have very pigmented lips also and finding lip products that work as intended can be a little tricky (often products do not look the same on me as most reviewers - that is one of the reasons I love your lip product reviews!). Not sure why they called these lip oils, I am going to stick with my Dior lip oils for that.
I am so glad to hear that! I struggle with that as well. This isn't a bad product for something light :) most of the colors were pretty light for me so I'll have to wait to maybe try a darker color
I don’t know if it’s just me, but there is more of a shadow cast on the right side (my left) of your face, so it made it kinda hard to really see the differences in the bronzers. Especially because you used the cooler toned shade on the side that already kinda had a shadow.
I like its blushes and I heard good thing of liquid highlighter . I’d like westman atelier stick better and I think of getting mini size which is not much high price and I guess it works for a while, at least for me😊
I bought one of the lip oils in happy, I was trying to decide between the three pinks wonder, hope and happy but they all look so similar, so I picked the one that I don't have a similar shade of in another lip product in my collection. I was going to buy the Fenty or REM lip oil as I was looking for one until these came out. When it comes to blushes I only use powders and rarely cream types, but not liquids so even though everyone loves the rare beauty blushes, they weren't for me. I have the mini one in Joy and hardly use it simply due to it being a liquid.
Today I ordered the shade honesty after watching a few full collection lip swatch videos, it seemed the closest to shades that I like on me lol (kind of obsessed with the YSL candy glaze in Cacao No Boundary- a chocolatey color, but I blur it out and add tarte's juicy lip over the middle, because I need more moisture than the candy glaze gives. Also Dior lip gloss in Mahogany 😍) I'm kind of excited about the subtle tint, but I hope the applicator fuzzies aren't noticeable 😳 I like the shade bright side on you, and I really like the WA biscuit on you, but hesitate to order either for myself, because I bought both thre CT cream bronzer and the nars cream bronzer, and I never really reach for cream bronzers 🤦♀️🤷♀️ I also have em cosmetics so soft in Terra (really great shade for kind of a brontour on fair/light skin) soooo I'm thinking to hold off on another cream bronzer. I want both of those blushes! But I wish they'd release a mini size, there's no way I can use up the full size of those liquid blushes. Especially when I mostly reach for powder blush, and I have way too many already lol

Although I did go into a sephora store yesterday with my stepmom, she needed a new lipstick, but I noticed that particular location didn't have any of the candy glazes.
Update: it does have a weird cooling effect, and I thankfully didn't notice any applicator fuzzies, but I do find it drying. I want to like it more than I do lol I wish the color were a bit darker, but also sheer. I might pick up a darker shade later on, but glad I only got one for now. Idk, it gives me a little bit of that "wrinkly butthole" lip look. 🤷♀️
Not sure why they consider power boost neutral? Maybe neutral to warm as i don’t find it as warm on the face. Formula wise does not mesh as well with my vieve liquid blushes that are dewy and don’t fully dry down so id be interested in virtue as a good combo. It’s the first one of her blushes that I took a 2nd glance at so I don’t know why they would make it LE ;(, it seems to fill in the gaps in her range. I like to wear the bronzer tho either with a bit of hl or sometimes powder blush and any type of hl works well.
I’ve been wearing for 2 days now and i really wanted to love them but it wasn’t long lasting properly like 45 mins it does leave a stain but it’s patchy stains. I really wanted to love it especially because of the stain but I kept getting patchy stains. I will be purchasing more of the lipsticks or the matte liquid lipstick.
"I don't even know what I am saying" ahahah I enjoyed the visual journey to describe the the lip oil taste! I saw Charlotte's review and they were kind of pigmented in her case. I was intrigued. Maybe it's the colour, or your gorgeous lips are just too much to handle for the oil! :) The fact that the applicator loses some pieces is not really good. I think I will stick with the Dior maximizers and buy another one of those!
I don’t like the Charlotte tilbury wands I’ve bought them in the past a bronzer and highlighter and it’s very unsanitary and one of the sponges disintegrated! For the price I’d like way better packaging! Rare beauty blows it away and the price point is spot on! Her blushes sale out in fact one of the new ones is already sold out!
Maybe you should have gotten the deep plum shade Affection...this lip oil shade was too close to your naturally (and gorgeous) pigmented lips. And I think you got a dud...I've seen about 6 different videos on these & no one said anything about the applicator leaving pieces behind...no one wants that!! 🥺
Honey, you don't know what you are talking about! How do you say that the lip oil is not last longer with just one swipe? this lip oil is the last longer of all the others you mentioned because it is also tinted and it leaves the color on the lips for the rest of the day and to say that it is not pigmented? came on? you have super pigmented lips and you chose a same color shade of your lips!

Well i don’t mean to be shady, but the lip oils by rarebeauty stains the lips you didn’t try them enough … also i don’t think you have a pigmented lips !!
