Well done Craig!! I don't know how you've managed to get hold of the "Pharaoh's Mask" at an affordable price, but I'm very pleased that you have. Just ordered one of the "Pharaoh's Mask and the "Redemption" as I'm sure that other subscribers want them as well.
Hi Craig. Thanks for the video, as always , so encouraging and informative. Are you growing any Colocasia Gigantea this year? Having real hard job finding any rooted plants for sale of this particular plant. Grateful for any advise regarding the purchase of rooted Gigantea. Thanks Craig.
I put a Mojito in the ground in Bruges Belgium last summer and it came back this spring, my Teacup Colocasia that I tried the same with didn’t make it. It isn’t as large as my pink china in the ground, but nothing is particularly impressive yet. A really bad winter and a slow start to spring (and now no rain for 6 weeks) means I’m hoping I’ll get a decent show before everything is killed back by frosts, but we’ll see.
I have pharoahs mask and mojito on my balcony, happy the prices have dropped. I have a question unrelated to plants, what is the colour and brand company of your walls. My bedroom is currently a terracota colour and I am looking for something brighter. Love how your plants look against that turmeric colour!
It makes me wonder, say you (Craig, or other proprietor of a rare plant sales) manage to secure 50 very hard to come-by Redemption plugs into stock and start to sell them, and one person tries to buy all your remaining stock at full price, say 45 of them, do you just sell them to him, or do you say "Look, no offence but I want many of my valued customers to buy them, not just one"?
In my area the Pharaoh's mask they sell for 20 to 25 bucks f9r one that size. I ended up finishing a gallon size for 20 bucks. I'm on the lookout the redemption one.
Hey. Surely the redemption cant be as hardy as that! Is it like the cordyline Charlie boy that was supposed to be as hardy as the green cordylines but arent even close.
I have been looking for both of these here in US hard to find so congrats on getting these. The Mojito I have been growing for 3 years and love then very hardy here in Northwest Florida zone 8b/9A I put the 3 gallon pots inside a sealed pot with water during growing season then take them out and put in my green house from December to February bring back out again and they just put out new leaves and keep looking great
Faros mask it is not so please stop saying that, it is a Pharaohs mask. You know like the Egyptian king or queen. Sorry to pick you up but it was annoying
