Tag duels were a good idea when yugioh wasnt this crazy complex, they also lost the chance to do it online tsg duels in duel links, and its a terrible idea putting this mode in md, tag duels would be fun in another mode like edison format or lower, not modern yugioh

​@hatefulgaming1800 mtg arena is way more affordable for newer players. I spent 100 dollars on each and I was able to build a really good deck with the cards I obtained. In mtg you can realistically build a budget deck and do really well. Yes mtg crafting system isn't as good as MD but the daily rewards plus the bundles are more worth while than MD

@@wvanhuss4190 I played Mtg Arena as well, let me correct you about Mtg Arena, the arena is way more affordable IF you are willing to be a Hardcore player, the only way to get gems fast is by playing draft with a win 3 times each game to get enough coin to buy the draft game again continuously, and boy oh boy, draft is hard as hell

Honestly, casual mode should have elo too just so that players get matched up with people of similar skill instead of always dia and plat players testing out their new meta decks.

You can balance the casual mode to give less battle pass xp or none and be good, especially since there's no other gems to earn in a unranked game mode for milestone achievements.

Casual player have monthly event, duel tryout, casual match, team battle even duel room for them to play casual. Having something for competitive player i think is worth it.

well we all know yugioh players hate playing the game so ofc they unsatisfied to having more content. Especially since a lot of players just play stall to get high m1 then quit the game for the rest of the month, imagine the horror in their eyes when theres a mode that "rewards" you for playing the game longer. (even though its a completely optional game mode and you miss nothing from not playing it, honestly why would anyone be mad at this)

Tag duels would require all 4 players to have a staple connection, getting 2 people to do that is hard enough Also yugioh is really not built to handle drafts

If they implement that, it would likely cost a fee to enter, if it didn't you could just play all day without having to commit anything to the game. Or that could be unlocked at lvl 30, showing that the player already dedicated a lot of time to the game

I dont understand why people call this dumb? It's literally a fun Mode like Tag duels would be fun... People really like the best of 1 Format which is decided by resolving maxx c? Draft mode, Tag duels and times Events is what keeps/would keep this game fresh.

As players, we should want them to win their money because it means that the business can keep going = the game will keep going. Of course, as consumers, we should keep watch of the predatory measures that Konami tries on us. I don't like the Duelist Cup grind mode. It is unhealthy for those willing to bet their welfare for a videogame. But the players tend to be more stupid than the mode and Konami can't control our behaviors. Everyone must take care of themselves, but still... If you really want to prove yourself in the hardest of tests, the grind mode of the Duelist Cup/World Championship Qualifiers is the right place for it. A lot is at stake and many good players are there trying the same retarded stuff for the offered price. To an extent, that's the very nature of being competitive... To do whatever it takes to win the competition.

Obviously it wouldn't be as fast and combo heavy as advanced play but that's the entire point of draft. To make the best with what you got.
