Hey Scott! I have two sets of the single ring razors and both have the original cardboard blade banks! One set is in beautiful condition, the other is in fair condition without the lids. They are indeed rare. Thanks for showing us your latest additions! JimG
Hi Jim, thanks for watching. When I was just doing my normal scrolling through eBay those banks are what caught my eye. The razor being in beautiful condition was just a plus lol. But once I really looked at it it was all to good to pass up.
@shavingwithpegleg3813 I just picked up a vintage Gillette Bostonian with case and original blade bank for just $75!! Great price! Can't wait for that to arrive next week! Too good to pass up!
Did you see the Khaki Bulldog set with an extra Bulldog and 2 other razors that just sold for $340? It was a beautiful set, the bidding got crazy at the end. I want a Bulldog some day myself, but had to pass on that one. Thanks for the tip Dave, kind of what I was thinking. Funny there are lots of razor refinishers but no one does the cases.
