Having a very tough chronic illness day + woke up with a migraine that was most definitely sent from the 8th ring of hell. Just wanted to say a huge Thank You cuz I get temporary distraction from watching your videos. You are so real, relatable, and *honest* which unfortunately is rare in this beautifully diverse community. But it makes your channel and content all the more special, in my opinion anyway. 🖤
I've been a subscriber for quite a few years and girl, this foundation is amazing on your skin, it has that lit from within look that us dry girls want. i love the brush side !
I love your reviews. I have the Dior Natural Nude as well, and it wears fabulously on my mature skin. Satin finish, wears well and looks great. Can't use many primers with it as it turns heavy. Primers I like to use with it are Elf whoa, Laura Geller Spackle, Tula Glow and protect. I apply with a brush and finish with a damp beauty sponge. I don't feel the founation. I love this. So glad we agree
I have this foundation and LOVE it. I didn’t realize that it is available at Ulta. Glad to hear that. I have dry mature skin and this looks so nice on my skin. This lasts over 12 hours on me. Thanks for a great video.
Hey Mallory!! Thanks for another comprehensive review…I am currently waiting to next buy the newest Laura Mercier foundation as per your suggestion! The reason I wanted to comment today was to ask you if you have heard of the Stila Plush and Plump Lip Blurring Serum??? It is a lip treatment and device in one!! The product is a plumping serum that squeezes out onto a metal applicator, and there is a metal band around the tube where you hold the product while you apply the serum. The metal conducts your body’s own electrical current to vibrate the applicator, pushing the plumping serum into the lip and also providing a physical plump. I haven’t seen anyone discuss this product. I am in Canada and paid $44 for it…and not only is it fun to apply (it really is not a painful process, either), I think it smooths out my lips lines and plumps my lips with a bit more longevity than other pluming products. Has anyone in the comments heard of this? Anyway, I recommend it for the novelty experience and for the results!! Have fun all and thanks again Mallory for brightening my day!❤❤❤
This foundation looks beautiful on you! I’ve wanted to try this since it came to Ulta but I never heard anyone talk about it. So, so happy for this review!!!
Love your reviews! ❤I also have really dry skin and this foundation looked great on you. I'd like to see a video on Dior Natural Nude versus the new Glossier foundation - they seem similar in finish.
At first, I liked the brush side better, but then I found the sponge side looked nicer after a few hours of wear... I have this foundation (not the reformulated one) that I bought as soon as it was released (Spring 2021), it's not my fave but it's really pretty on my skin though 🙌
OH, I’m first?! I am determined to use up my 2 Chanel foundations (No 1 and Sublimage - love both) before even considering a new foundation from any brand. Still, I enjoy your reviews and will save it for when I’m ready! Thanks!!
This is much glowier, and LS blurs more than this. I love both, just a lot of differences. If you want a glowy finish that lasts all day, this is the one! LS is your girl if you want a more satin finish, blurs, and also lasts❤️
The shades are terrible on this one. The 2w is the lightest warm shade and it’s more like a light medium not a fair or a light shade at all. I had to add more white mixer than I had of foundation to get a shade. It could have been a good one if it was useable.
I just don't get the price-point analogy you have. The price is primarily based on the brand, not because the expensive high end foundations were able to put better ingredients into it.. A high end brand has high end prices, a low end brand will have lower prices. Almost all foundations will work better with primer and powder, its just a matter of which kind suits the foundation you're using. If almost no one skips primer and powder, then I personally think it just makes more sense to review a foundation with different primer/powder rather than to let the foundation sit on its own.
