Redcat has been killing it, honestly. A massively overlooked brand, from the majority. I absolutely love the body on this truck and those dusted chrome rims are perfect. It has a classic look. $150-200 cheaper than an XMAXX/Kraton 8s too.

@@thunderrc Much appreciated ! Some people can tear up a rock. You seem to get more proper landings and less breakage. All things break but mostly due to landing on one corner, etc. Shit happens. Does not mean they are junk. But others have the Ford Vs Chevy or rather Traxxas vs everyone else. Love my xmaxx but like the others too.
Redcat is officially a serious player in the 8s/5th scale market. The brandfans are going to lose their heads and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it 😆 🤣
I've been preaching this about the CEN Reeper forever, but you see how well that's gone. I do really like the Vigilante. Gonna have to pick one up eventually.
Agree , I go out of my way to not buy traxxas and of course I like and own them being into the hobby for so long . I’d rather see this truck do well and get this company in mix with horizon and traxxas
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw I agree. I won’t buy Traxass anything, I’ve had a few in the past but no more for me. Been around long enough to see when a brand cares and supports its customers and when they don’t. So I find this an interesting alternative to a lighter 1/5 basher. I love my Outcast 8s rigs and for him to say it reminded him of that, I had to smile 😬
Hey Rocky, and Rocky's mom, I had just written to another youtuber to try and get him to get this truck literally two days ago and here you guys got to it first - way to go!! I actually prefer you review it but I didn't think you did anything with Redcat so I didn't ask. This was just what I wanted to see - the Vigilante vs the Deathramp, and the thing held it's own. The bump flips really show a truck's ability to take a punch and that it did. Thank you guys for doing such good work with these tests. Now hop this thing up, wait for the weather to clear and let's see that beast get a true beating!

I think he is still getting the feel of the Redcat and of course later down the road you're going to have to upgrade it just like you did his x-maxx but personally I think it's going to be an awesome basher can't wait to get one you truly test them out
It looks awesome bro. Seems like it has a lot of potential, but when you ripped the X-Maxx it was a whole different story. Probably because we already know that the X-Maxx just takes almost any abuse. Great video and great to see another new truck. I liked the Lipos 🙂
It definitely is a more intimidating looking truck. Looks bigger than the xmaxx flying through the air. Put some copperhead 2's or some other huge tires. The suspension is killer, yeah this the one for me lol

I don’t know mabey the Xmaxx is slightly better but you can’t beat the looks of that Redcat! That is a good looking truck! I’ll buy it for the looks partly and it performed really well.
Restrained bash. 5 or 6 jumps, was that a whole battery pack? Can't see it surviving long term after a few heavy hits. 2 more videos and we won't see it again.

Do you know if any pinion gears are being offered at this point or what pinion do you know that would work? I just purchased one and would like to upgrade based off you saying it needs to be geared up.

Ive been waiting to see if it had any weak points ill wait for maybe another bashing session i want to see if its durable before buy it maybe a larger motor would do it some good turn up the punch
I've watched pretty much all your videos. And your opinion means a lot if you had to choose between the team. Karaleigh kagama and the new crate in success. BLX with the aluminum gifts and all that which one would you get? Your opinion really matters. Cause you really put the trucks through their paces. And? See what they will do
Traxxas really needs to f off with the lawsuit thing and start supporting the hobby. It's supposed to be fun, not some hen house full dramatic politics where traxxas can't take a joke. Traxxas also needs to lower their prices and offer roller kits without electronics.
@@shawndockins4561 the only thing traxxas has spent millions on is lawyers. And maybe permissions to use Ford or Chevy bodies. If they wanted to "protect their design" maybe they should stop selling base models for double what they used to and make the new ultimate models the norm and sell them for half the current price.

How close are you from America you could cross the border are mabe get someone you know to get one in America and then you could go on a vacation to America and then pick it up are mabe they could even mail it to you and you would still probably save a lot of money at that price.
