Oh wow. I was about to try this concealer (Sephora still has the old formula) but I'm glad I didn't. I had no idea they reformulated! The new formula unfortunately has fragrance (their old concealer was one of their only base products that didn't) and ingredients my acne prone skin doesn't love :(. Surprised to hear it performs similarly considering the formula is very different, so that's impressive!

I agree with you, even though parfum is at the bottom of the ingredient list it’s not really necessary. I was also surprised that it performed well wasn’t expecting it

Thanks for your insight! I’m really bummed they added so many extracts and fragrance, I know me and a lot of other people relied on the original for their super sensitive skin. I’ll try it but I’m wary!

Hi Sara, this concealer looks beautiful on you! Are you happy that you went for a shade lighter? I’ve just ordered this and also went from 2n to 1.5n- praying it’s not too light 😄 I have a similar skin tone to you so I’m interested to hear your thoughts 🥰

Hi Carmel, yes I am I felt 2N was a shade that I would use all over as a foundation. Generally I prefer a more brightening concealer

Hey Sara, since you mentioned that this one is medium coverage, do you know any good one (not drying) that would be FULL coverage? preferrably from really popular brands like Dior, Hourglass etc, since I live in Europe and we don't have brands like NAtasha denonna or tower 28 here:D My undereyes are extremely purple, and I would prefer the most full coverage possible ;D

Hi! I love Chanel’s SUBLIMAGE LE CORRECTEUR YEUX. It is a full coverage and non-drying concealer. It lasts all day and does not crease. It’s my go to concealer when I want something full coverage. The only down side is it’s very pricy so I would recommend you try to visit a Chanel makeup boutique if you can and ask for a sample before you purchase to be sure it works for you.

Yes so messy! Even when I tried to be careful the product seemed to always get around the bottle. So glad they fixed that

I would stick with the 2n for your skin tone. Both look very good but I think the 2n is a better much for your skin tone.

I’ve been using the brighter shade towards my inner corner and the darker towards the outer, kind of gives a highlighted effect, brightens the eye area, and provides coverage at the same time 💕

I need help, I purchased this a few years ago in shade 6M. Do you know what shade that is with the new formula? I’m a bit on the pale/ faired skin.

I felt the new formula is just a little lighter when you go with the same shade you purchase with the old formula. If you liked 6M and felt it was the right shade for you I think concealer is forgiving enough where if it was slightly lighter it’ll still look nice

That’s hard to say, I’d recommend trying them at your local Sephora and perhaps asking for a sample 💕

i dont know about the original, but the new one says its a full coverage concealer

I wouldn’t say it’s full coverage at least in comparison to other full coverage concealers on the market. You can build it up Ofcourse but I’d say it leans more towards medium coverage
