Thanks so much for this review!! I am in the US and just got an email that this was released…had no idea! And I love all the flankers including the original. In my opinion, you’re not missing anything by not smelling the Vanilla Orchid flanker. It was okay, but rather boring. I enjoyed your descriptions and reading the notes 💕💕
The original White Tea is my all time favorite scent! So happy for this review! How similar is it to the original whith the white cap? I love the citrus note in the original but not finding it on the list with this new formula. Wondering if maybe I should just stick with the white cap since you say the gold cap doesn't last much longer and is more rosey?
I'm not keen on the original because I find it a touch too woody and unisex. This one is more feminine to me and obviously it's a rose perfume, but the basic DNA of white tea is absolutely there.... you'd know it was a EA White tea in a blind sniff test you know? But I think there's enough rose to tell you it isn't the same perfume!
Any idea if this is available in the U.S.? Doesn't seem to be on the U.S. site and I'm unable to find it on search engines-- just keep getting the original White Tea with the white cap.
Most of my favourite rose perfumes aren't just rose as I haven't found many scents that I think smell like natural rose! There's a Brocard My Cup of Tea Perfume called Early Morning that smells like fresh cut roses with tea and lemon, but I inly have a sample as I can't get Russian Perfumes due to the Sanctions. I love the rose in Charles Brosseau Fleurs D'Ombre Rose but that's also very fruity! Salvatore Ferragamo signorina is quite nice but not particularly natural! I'm incredibly fussy about rose in perfumes because I really only like photo-realistic note and that's rarely what perfumes smell like! Not normally keen on soapy rose. I'm just such a fusspot! 😅
Interesting. I don't think the parfum smells like wild rose and I don't think wild rose smells like the original white tea. I found wild rose sickly sweet and a bit synthetic personally. Different noses it seems!
