After resizing the rod brasses on the 70, the crew makes an 18-mile trip to retrieve equipment at New Reliance to test their work. Crew cuts brush to allow for clearance for the steam engine, and pulls our Alaska Boxcar and caboose back for some sprucing up before the RailCycle season kicks off. We've started work to bring this segment back into service, hopefully for the 2025 season. We'd sure appreciate donations to help cover the cost of ties and stone - most or all of the work will be done in-house by our staff and volunteers, with our equipment. Check out our nonprofit's website for a donation link: www.wfim.org.
