The new station wagon version of the noble model shows some optical innovations, relies on high-quality materials, innovative technologies and even more security.
Newly designed elements on the front and rear, 100% LED lighting, the availability of LED Matrix Vision lighting technology, a shark antenna and three new colors for the body combine in the New Talisman Grandtour a class of its own with lots of high-tech.
The designers refined the interior with the same care, whereby the particularly noble materials of INITIALE PARIS shift the bar far in the direction of luxury class. An individually configurable digital 10.2 '' TFT monitor is now used as the instrument display. The display can be personalized via MULTI-SENSE, including integrating the navigation system in an ideal position, directly behind the steering wheel.
With Renault EASY CONNECT there is also a system available in the New Talisman Grandtour that links various applications such as MY Renault, the new Renault EASY LINK multimedia system and networked services such as automatic updates or remote access to the vehicle.
 
The latest technologies are also used in the driving assistants, including autonomous driving at level 2. The Autobahn and Traffic Assist combines the adaptive cruise control with the lane keeping system. This enables the independent regulation of the safety distance to the vehicle in front, even when cornering and up to 160 km / h, but also until the vehicle comes to a standstill and starts moving again within 3 seconds.
In addition, the New Talisman Grandtour is the only vehicle in this category to offer 4CONTROL four-wheel steering, coupled with electronically controlled shock absorbers. The permanently activated system controls the steering of the rear wheels automatically - depending on the situation in the same direction as the front wheels or in the opposite direction. This ensures driving dynamics that are unique in this category, but remains handy and agile in city traffic.
Renault relies on the latest generation of petrol and diesel engines to drive the new Talisman Grandtour. They meet the latest specifications and standards according to WLTP, are cleaner and still more powerful. The TCe turbo gasoline engines have a particle filter (PF), while the Blue dCi diesel engines use the selective catalytic exhaust gas afterburning technology SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) with AdBlue® to reduce NOx emissions.
The petrol engines cover the power spectrum from 160 to 225 hp, combined with an automated 6-speed EDC dual clutch transmission. For the diesel engines, the previous four-cylinder 1.7 liter Blue dCi with 120 hp or 150 hp is still available (with 6-speed manual transmission). The state-of-the-art 2.0 liter Blue dCi 160 EDC or 200 EDC, combined with the automated 6-speed EDC dual clutch transmission, completes the range of engines.
With the extensive ZEN equipment, it is available from CHF 36,900 (new Talisman Grandtour TCe 160 PF). The top version INTENS is available from CHF 39,900. And the most exclusive equipment, the New Talisman Grand Tour INITIALE PARIS, is available from CHF 47,900.
Since the talisman was introduced, design has been one of the central criteria in purchasing decisions. The further developments underline the high-quality character of the New Talisman and make it even more attractive. Inside the vehicle, the New Talisman shows noble quality and high-quality manufacturing down to the smallest detail. A fine chrome strip visually enhances the center console, accompanied by ambient lighting. The latest and most up-to-date technologies from Renault ensure that traveling in the New Talisman becomes even more of a premium experience - for drivers and passengers. The latest generation of petrol and diesel engines from Renault's engine range are used in the New Talisman.
