The Office of the Inspector General released a final report Wednesday on the Oct. 2022 ambush killing of Bristol Lt. Dustin DeMonte and Sgt. Alex Hamzy.
The big question is were these 2 officers tyrants in their career making false arrests of innocent people or using excessive force against non-combative citizens. If so then these 2 officers may have contributed to their own demise by not using critical thinking skills (they probably lacked any anyway) and trying to de-escalate the situation.
Just stop. These two were remarkable, go to Bristol and ask around and you’ll hear nothing different. Critical thinking would not have helped them here. Superman and Batman could have arrived here and it would have ended the same way. They had no time to react or act differently given the information available to them. Get lost.
@@anuraagkorchipati8794 he didnt want to press charges related to the fight, driving drunk is a separate issue, they should of been taken away that night and locked up for drunk driving.
No charges for the killer during the initial interaction at the bar because? Oh yeah because he's white so the cops put up with so much more when it's there own kind
Smh actions from beginning to end shows the 2 states of justice in this country PERIOD. Most other places OR persons would have been in cuffs from the gate. PERIOD
I agree. They always give a warning that it might be too graphic. They need to get into the story. They also need to be graphic so people know what is really happening out there.
The initial officer's who performed the traffic stop started taunting and insulting them, they are too blame for this incident and pushed the individual over the edge
Oh the cops are to blame for this? You’re a f’n clown and a dipshit. Both him and his brother were acting like assholes and the cops gave it back to them. Clearly he couldn’t handle it because he was a weak man and resorted to this. He was a coward.
Why not arrest them, or at the least, not sit there instigating the guy. Also, true mom that didn’t call police after he told her what he was going to do should be hit with charges. All she had to do was call 911
@@mhsandifer no, the shooter is the one that called, claiming the younger brother was the problem. he lured them using his brother as bait. the shooter is the one that said there were no weapons.
I would have thought that Nathan Brutcher would have been the shooter since he was the one involved in the bar fight, was the most “vocal” with his foul fucking mouth and disrespect-and subtle threats-during the traffic stop. His brother, Nicholas, was obnoxious, as well, but didn’t appear nearly as volatile as his brother. If only the patron at the bar had pressed charges….if only the stop had been conducted differently by keeping those two subjects away from the officers or better yet, detained in the back seat of the patrol car….if only there was sufficient evidence to charge Nathan Brutcher…. Hindsight is 20/20. Nothing can change the outcome. It’s a tragedy that changed the lives of so many people. And Nathan Brutcher has done himself a real disservice in Bristol and neighboring towns. I pray he never needs the assistance of law enforcement….
@@tiffanyray5360Do I? I’ll have to rewatch the video. Ugh…I endured the 23 minute surveillance video from the bar scene to the traffic stop to the 911 call at their residence. I’m almost positive I have it correctly, but this news footage was a little confusing. Please let me know if you have confirmation on the mistake. Thanks
@@tiffanyray5360You’re right. Thank you for the correction. When I watched the footage, Nathan was calling to his brother, saying “Nick, Nick”, but I mistook it for “Nate”. I was wondering because the one I now know to be Nick was the person who was aggressive, disrespectful, etc, and not really his brother so much. (Judging solely by the footage). It now makes perfect sense that Nick was the one who cunningly lured police to his residence with the ruse that his brother was out of control.
