I don’t know why I am attracted to new foundation reviews. I’ve got several great foundations I really like and don’t even get to all of them. But here I am!
I just bought this. I am 67 years old. Applied with my fingers. Love the natural finish. Did not settle into lines. At 13 1/2 hours it was totally gone off my face. So tomorrow I will have to check in periodically a lot earlier to see how it’s wearing. Did not get blotchy or anything. I found it at Walmart for $14. I think I really like this foundation also.
This is my second day of using this foundation and love it. I am a natural redhead with fair skin, so I am using 113. Revlon filed for bankruptcy in ‘22, so I am trying to support them their great products.
I remember cringing when drugstore foundations went above $10. How about they take out the skincare and lower the price, because those ingredients probably won’t penetrate through all the layers of my skincare and primer. And give me a break - if foundation improves skin over time then we would not need it eventually and that’s bad for their bottom line.
I just discovered your channel, but good lord, your eyes are the prettiest shade of green I have ever seen! And I love this foundation too, although I think I'm going to try a bit darker shade. I'm fair with neutral undertones, so I chose 117, but this shade looks great on your skin!!! I might try 201. By the way, Revlon had a liquid foundation called New Complextion that I loved. There was no foundation that even came close. But, this might be a new version of it whooo hooo!
I actually love your hair! I wore mine like that for years. I may be stuck in the 80’s but who cares! It’s a flattering style. There are limited ways to cut hair anyway! Forget about looking like Camila- you look good. 😊
@@FrugieBlog Omgoodness- new subscriber here. Your amazing eye-color and hair color combo makes me think of stunning “Angelique” from the original Dark Shadows show. Thank you for this helpful upload!
This foundation looks gorgeous on your skin! Drugstore foundation prices here in Canada are INSANE 😳😨. L’Oréal foundations can reach close to $30!!!! Here is my “hair story” from 1988: it’s early June and I’m 8 and a half months pregnant with my first and I’ve gained close to 50lbs 😬. It’s a million degrees outside and super humid - I have hair down to my shoulders and I spontaneously walk into some random hair place on the street in our small town and ask them to cut all my hair off - like in a pixie. And then when I get home and see my husband I burst into tears and say “ I look like a BOY😩” And we had a wedding to go to the next day……to this day I have no clue what on earth I was thinking lol 😅 I think your hair looks gorgeous- you’ve got a Marilyn Monroe vibe going on💗 Xo 🇨🇦
Thank you for reviewing this one! I want to try it. And while the audio at the start may not have been absolute top quality, it was still clear and loud enough. 👍
That foundation is $12 at Walmart, even less when on sale. It looks gorgeous on you. Ppl complain about drugstore prices but feels like they gut stuck on the old days, with old formulas, old prices. If you had to purchase a bottle of foundation, a bottle of squaline and a bottle of hyaluronic acid you'd be spending much more. I think the price tag is directly linked to formulation and performance, not just numbers alone. Revlon is the only brand I've found so far, high end and drugstore, that makes foundations that go beautiful and undetectable on my skin.
Hi, first time here. Love your sense of humour, so refreshing from the other pseudo-chic beauty tubers. I've bought this Revlon foundation recently still unsure if it becomes a favourite. Overall it is a nice one
Prices everywhere have gone up.. high end makeup is so expensive. I mean the Patrick Ta eyeshadow palettes are almost $70 and people go and buy it. They also buy luxury handbags. Chanel’s prices have jumped up in prices so is it too hard to believe that drugstore prices are rising too? I mean eggs are atrociously expensive.. Plus drugstore makeup products overall have upped their game. Many products are competing with the high end sisters. After all many of those companies are pretty much owned by one company. I get that it makes as balk.. the fact that everything around us had gone up in prices: it’s not so shocking that makeup has gone up too. Plus drugstores do have sales.. Great video!
Agree w your comments on the cost. At what price point does it stop being drugstore makeup?Looks like a good product. Love your necklace! Where did you get it? Thanks for the review!😊
It's funny what we're used to in cost for things. My brother went to Italy and he said that the coffee and pasta were affordable- but the Burger King was terribly expensive. He didn't eat there but saw the sign.
I have a wedding hair story that will make you laugh. I was in my older brother’s wedding when I was 12 in the early 70s. My mom had my hair done in an up-do. Which was fine, but she made me wear it to school (Jr. high) the following week. “I paid good money for that hairdo and you are going to keep it until next weekend”. 😳. Oh the horror. I complied for 2 days and after much ribbing, I went to the girl’s bathroom, removed every hairpin and brushed through the helmet of hairspray nearly destroying my long hair. Pulled it into a bun, went back to class. Mom nearly killed me when I got home. (This became the launching point of a moderate rebellious period. Not only at home but I was in a wedding in my early 20’s and the bride wanted the bridesmaids to all have up-dos. I refused). Going through some hair undecidedness-ness now as I have an upcoming salon appointment. My current blunt bob is getting long and want change, but not sure if it’s keep the length but add layers, go back to chin bob, add curtain bangs and/or light layers. My Pinterest board looks like a hodgepodge of confusion. Lol. I blame my mom for hair paranoia. 😂
That's hilarious!!! An updo in jr high!! I was in my brother's wedding when I was 12 but in the 80s. I think I just used hot rollers. It was my Princess Diana phase ;)
Great video it would have been helpful for you is to show us the foundation on the back of your hand for the consistency and also what is the name of the colour 201???
First, I want to say your hair looks great!! It has lots of body and looks wonderful on you. Second, Im wondering....I have seen several positive reviews for this foundation so I got it. Has anyone had a problem with the way it smells?
If you don’t leave your lipstick stay for 8 hours, why do you let the foundation sit on your face for 8 hours? I wear 201. I do a little touch up in mid afternoon.
