Loved this river and forest. Beautifully preserved. As a history nerd I really got that feeling of what it was like as a Native American or settler just paddling through the river. Awesome experience. Beautiful scenery and forestry!
LOL! He flew it forward and then reversed the footage Giant! Would not have been able to see where he was going if flew it backwards unless he was looking right at it with his eyes on the bird.
This is so special to me !! I am moving to Hico (hopefully this year) and love this area. The bridge and surrounding area is absolutely breathtaking. Hats off to you for this edit!
Did you make it to Hico? My brother lives right down the road in Ansted. We've lived here in Fayette County for over 5 decades. Born and raised here, and I guess we take the area for granted at times. My favorite state park is right up the road from Hico too. Babcock State Park. I've been all over the county, and think it's perhaps the most beautiful in the state. Even flew over the gorge years ago, before the bridge was built, when I was taking flying lessons from 5 Dollar Frank.
