Wow! Thanks for sharing your trip. My husband and I are going here in October...this made me look forward to it even more AND gave me an idea of which trails I want to hike.
Hello. So glad you found value in the video. So nice of you to reach out to us with your comment. Here’s to hoping your visit exceeds your expectations 😊.
Great! We hope you enjoy the visit as much as we did! If you have any questions let us know. Thanks watching and also for the kind comment. Happy trails!
Great video! Very informative, and beautiful. I'll be making my second visit to New River Gorge this summer, and you've shown me some things that I missed on my first trip that I'll be sure to see this summer!
Hi Steve. I have the Stratos 36 and Lezli has the Sirrus 24. We are fans of Osprey. The are comfortable and durable with a lifetime warranty. We’ve used ours for 5 years and there’s still nothing wrong with them. Get fitted for one before you buy no matter the brand you choose. We went to REI for that.
It’s a camera clip made by Peak Design. It works well and I’ve never had it fail me. We don’t use it much as we almost exclusively use our iPhone 14 Pro for our videos. If you’re looking for a clip I would recommend this one.
Great content, what kind of maps were you using to show us the trails? Also if you come back this way be sure to visit Babcock State Park, it has an iconic mill you've likely scene in autumn pictures.
Hi Tom! The maps were from the visitor center. We visited Babcock State Park on one of our first trips with the motorhome a few years ago. We rode our bikes from the campground to the mill. It is a beautiful setting. Thanks for watching and the kind comment.
We like to start at he Visitor Center at the parks we visit. This park offers some good hiking but also has some interesting history so since I don’t know your preferences, that would be something to consider when talking with a park ranger. I think the north section near Fayetteville is a good place to start. We liked the drive on Fayette Station Road which is the old way to cross the gorge. It has some excellent up close views of the new bridge. We also enjoyed the Endless Wall Trail and the Long Point Trail both of which have nice gorge and bridge views. All of these are reasonably close to each other. Hope you have an enjoyable visit!
@@BuckeyeDrifters We are here at Gorge now , we’ve completed all 4 of your recommendations , probably the best of the Gorge . We’re off to Brevard NC tomorrow . Thanks
