OMG you guys! RMS Beauty just released their new UnCoverup Cream Foundation and I couldn’t be more excited about it! I’ve known for a few months that it was coming out but didn’t know what to expect in terms of performance or application or what it even looked like! So I’m so excited to share with you my first impressions and demo of using this new foundation. Hint: I love it.

Kaila’s Place Hopefully not the wrong shade but I went for the original Uncoverup and might have gone for the cream foundation if I’d watched this first (I had been on the fence). I watched another video of yours reviewing their Mod palette and I had almost bought that too. 😂 Maybe next time. 😊

The original UnCoverUp is amazing! I use that on every actor/model/client I work on! It’s one of my favorite foundations ever. It’s basically the same thing just a smaller pot of it haha. And the Mod set is awesome! I highly recommend it because you get so many great products in one compact!

Thank you so much for your demo from Australia!!! I've tried applying this with a brush, sponge, fingers and an hour afterwards all my rosacea redness just comes out! I have dry skin and only set my t-zone otherwise my dry patches are too visible. Any tips for keeping this on for longer and preventing redness breakthrough? My rosacea is only diffuse redness (cheeks, chin, forehead) no papule or pustules- so texture isn't my issue- just redness! I try not to powder too much as it aggravates my angry skin haha! Any further tips with this gorgeous foundation would be appreciated! :) xx

@@kailasplace3566 I'm using the BareMinerals Cleansing Oil to cleanse, then The Ordinary's HA Serum, La Roche-Posay anti-redness/ hydrating serum, then Go-To's Face Hero Oil (Aussie brand), then Avene's Recovery Cream Rich, then my Australis green primer on my red areas. I set it with my BareMinerals Veil powder (the hydrating one). It could be my application? I've used the RT Sponge, the Urban Decay Optical Blurring Brush and even the HourGlass Vanish Brush (the one designed for their stick foundations)...

Hi Nicki! 2 more questions... have you tried applying it with your hands? Also, I’m wondering if the Bare Minerals powder could be causing your issue...?? I looked up the ingredients and it has corn starch in it which might be drying out your skin/causing the foundation to disappear? One thing I also noticed when applying this foundation to myself and others is that RMS foundation works best with a facial oil underneath, but not too much! Like if I apply slightly too much oil, it’s too slippery for the foundation to grip haha. And the type of oil matters too. Argan and jojoba are my favs under RMS products!

@@kailasplace3566 hello!!! My dermatologist has advised against using any oils because she feels like it would be drying out my skin more by pulling lipids and water from the dermis, leaving the epidermis dry. I am being naughty and using my face hero oil sometimes (full off nuts and fatty acids), but I usually need a green primer over that and moisturiser otherwise I'm too dry. I'll try and use my fingers to apply next time and see if it helps! Xx

Kaila this review rocks it's really in depth (totally watched it twice) and this color matches u perfectly. I finally tried a sample and I almost fainted at how much coverage it gives and how long lasting it is too. I wanted to test it out first because of the price but oh my it's worth every penny. Also congratulations, RMS beauty featured your video on the IG stories! I might've screamed a little because I'm so happy they did, it's well deserved.

Omg!!!! Your comment rocks. Thank you! I was so excited to see RMS feature my video! That was awesome. And I’m so glad you tried a sample of the foundation! I seriously love it. I’ve only not worn it twice since buying it hahaha. It just has such a great coverage and is so lightweight so it’s perfect for daily wear! It is expensive but I feel like it’ll last a really long time because of how little product you actually have to use.

Hi Vanessa! Thanks for watching!! Omg I didn’t realize it wasn’t out there yet! I did see she posted it was going to Australia soon, so hopefully Asia gets it around the same time! I know RMS is super popular in Japan, so I’m sure they will be working hard to get it there ASAP! I’ve even seen online before that Asia gets different items than we do in the US. I remember seeing some eyeshadow palettes before and I was like “I want those!” LOL! Hopefully you get it soon, and then let me know how you like it!!! :)

Hey there! On the original small size pots, the lids are aluminum, but on these new larger foundation jars, the lids are plastic.

Hi Nina! Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! Welcome! From what I have found with the regular uncoverups (not the new one) is that those work wonderfully with oily skin, so I think this new one would as well. Oil based products (like this) help to keep your skin moisturized and comfortable so it doesn’t have to over produce oils (leaving your skin oily). I’d say give it a try! Plus when you set it with powder, it takes away shine! So you should be good!

Hi Stacy! Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it! I try to stick to clean beauty, but my minimum is that it has to be cruelty free! I don’t mind straying to “conventional” brands, it just has to be CF! But, for the most part I try to stay clean! Any particular products you’re interested in reviews on??

Her make up is cruelty free and one of the best customer service experiences EVER when I asked for samples. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you!

Well welcome! Glad to have you join my channel!! I will look up the JI foundation! A friend of mine used to be their trainer artist and used some of her products on me for a party once! It was all really nice but I sort of forgot about her line! I’ll have to look them up again! That’s so great to hear their customer service is excellent. That is always so beneficial especially when shopping for makeup online... it can be difficult to really know what you’re looking at because sometimes photos aren’t the same as real life haha!
