It's been a major criticism of the Chrysler 300, that it tried to look too much like a Rolls Royce. Also, there actually are plenty of 300 models driving around that are turned into fake Rolls Royces.

I will never forget the RR Camargue I drove in 1982. The smell of the leather and the beauty of the interior won me over but the $20 tip I got for opening the door for the French owner who was accompanied at my club by two gorgeous salt and pepper ladies was the icing on the cake after which I floored his car around the streets of NY all the way to the parking garage!

Props to rolls royce for keeping physical buttons for the HVAC controls and not for moving to all touch, I never knew what was so luxurious about having touch screens scattered across the dash in the first place (like in the Audi A8 and the new W223 S class) it looks cheap and fingerprint smudges can be seen all over it, which looks disgusting, after using the system

I kind of grasp what you’re seeing. I assume it has to do with the exaggerated styling as compared with previous generations. Unfortunately most cars are going this route as it seems like the bold in-your-face graphics are becoming more of the design objective than the actual shaping and proportions, due to the fact that the car will be mostly seen on a screen and much less in concrete. China’s really good at blurring the line between “car” and “toy on wheels” though, I’d have to admit. And I’m Chinese which says something. But it’s all nonsense anyway because personal taste is subjective

honestly, they could have done better on the design. Considering how well they modernised the Phantom I wouldn't have expected such a confusing front end neither such a knock-off tail. At this rate, I would almost certainly go for a Flying Spur (if I had the money😂)
Pause @9:04 You can see the discoloration between the panels (above the front-right tyre). The front panel must be of a different material, hence reflects light differently. RR forgot to adjust the tone of the color used for the front panel.

The front looks like 1999 Skoda Fabia with a bit of Toyota Century garnishing. Those plastic engine covers with silver paint looks so cheap as you can see the edge has a sort of uneven moulding from plastic cut outs. The rear bumper has uneven panel gaps.
I disagree. The old one looked like an "entry level" Rolls Royce - The headlights & the small grille. The new one looks like a lithe Phantom. This one is a proper Rolls Royce....
