Hey Luke, you are the jack of all trades! Mechanic, carpet layer, motor trimmer and of course a detectorist. Not to mention your timber work. Well done Luke.

Cool Hands Luke, roof lining forward thinking, fold-back overlap equals no peeling, when down the track Zaz and Dom wheel pops along to car rallies. Our fabrics project is a butterfly sling chair getting recycled black trampoline matting, replaces torn vinyl, and the twin layer gives that lace curtains moiré effect, super cool! Years 7 & 8 we got AAs for Needlecraft, then Years 9 & 10 Metalwork also AAs... Should have worked at HSV or Corsa! Ever see a CSV? Another local but was really a kit car was the Purvis Eureka, rather useless for doing family barbeque shopping, hook up the trolley and drive it home! Cheers, Gabi

Another job crossed off the list @Gabi Valla and it turned out even better than expected with the new black carpet🙌 It will last for many years to come I'm sure. Great project to by the sounds too, I love your idea of using the trampoline matting. I can't say I have seen a CSV but I reckon I've heard of them spoken about before. Cheers heaps again Gabi, take care until our next 🙂👍👍🤝

G'day Luke, It's looking good! With the quality of my workmanship lately, I would either have glued the material to the wrong side of the panel or left a massive crease right down the middle, your lucky it wasn't me doing it, that glue can be unforgiving sometimes. I always had trouble with corners trying not to have little folds protruding out and spoiling the shape. It come up great, can't wait to see it fitted. Cheers Mate!

Thanks heaps @wayne armstrong it sure is coming along nicely so far mate. Now the roof lining is complete I can really concentrate back on sanding and stripping the exterior and ready it for paint too. Next video I will be sharing what it looks like fitted back into the car👌 Thanks again Wayne👍👍👍🤝

No idea what any of those car parts and names mean but great video Luke. 😂 I have been telling my son about your car videos.. Hoping to inspire him to maybe start a little car project on his own. The husband has one on the go atm but its a long term project as its a vintage car so that equals $$$..This is a great project!! 👍

It is quite a simple job when all said and done @Deanne Lewis just a bit of mucking around getting it out of the car and cleaning the old glue off. Back to brand new now though and it looks fantastic😊
