Xmen vs street fighter is amazing. I just recently picked it up for the Saturn. It's actually one of the reasons I bought a Saturn. I first played it at an arcade back in 99 I think... like anyone cares about my nostalgic story I got carried away. Talk about rambling.
Yea same here I played all these games when they were coming out. I first played this in late 96 in arcades. Destroyed my 9 year old mind with awesomeness. Had a CPS2 arcade of this, but have it for Saturn.
I _really_ hope that Capcom, Marvel, and SNK work together and bring us... ⭐Marvel vs. Capcom Legacy Collection⭐ - X-Men Children of the Atom - Marvel Super Heroes - X-Men vs. Street Fighter - Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter - Marvel vs. Capcom - Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (on a second disc) ⭐Capcom vs. SNK Legacy Collection⭐ - Capcom vs. SNK Pro - Capcom vs. SNK 2 - SVC Chaos: SNK Vs. Capcom ⭐Marvel vs. Capcom 4⭐ (not counting Infinite since it's not numbered and it was a tragedy) ⭐Capcom vs. SNK 3⭐ ⭐SVC Chaos 2⭐ I especially would like this kind of a collection since the earlier "vs" games I was only able to play them through the PS1 version which we all know is pretty bad; missing frames of animation, pixelated graphics, no tagging, etc. Of course the ones on the PS2 were okay, but apparently even the PS2 version had issues.
Such an amazing game. The art work, music, roster. Always makes me feel like a kid again when I play it. Prefer this era of fighters to all the new ones.
You can really see the attention to detail in the characters when you look at rouges ability steal. Each character gave her a new special when compared to later games in the series. It is too bad they could keep up with this attention and love of the character in later iterations.
24:01 Oh yeah, Death Battle "explained" on a normal HUMAN brain that has NOT been exposed radiation. We're talking about a giant green monster that's nuclear and the brain on Banner is already fucked up from having multiple beings in there (it's way more than just multiple personalities). Some evil science organization literally cut Hulk into pieces to run tests on him and put him in jars and he just willed himself together. But sure, let's apply normal human brain here...
Ryu: Nice Yellow speedo buddy... Cyclops: At least i ain't a Boring ass karate bitch! Ken: this coming from a cliche ass white dude... Wolverine: At least he ain't a half breed unlike you! Bison: Sorry bud, you ain't tall enough to get on this ride lol Magneto: I'd rather be short than look like a roided out Nazi Dictator! Akuma: Sit down old man and take your daily Vitamins before you break a hip... *X-MEN v.s. STREET FIGHTER*
Eventhough own this game on multiple consoles, including emulation; I want a Switch port of this game ASAP (the rest if the Vs would be hot too). The Switch is the console I want to collect legacy games on and get to play modern games on it too. Imagine having the entire Marvel Fighting game library and then being able to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 (and maybe 4 someday) on the Switch? Makes Switching between games super satisfying.
Idk why, but I've always preferred the 2D style of Capcom Fighting Games than the 2D Art Style of Arc System Works fighting games. I guess it has something to do with nostalgia, but 2D Capcom fighting games just seem more pleasing to the eye.
It's insane that the sega saturn overpowers the playstation 2d capcom fighting.I can clearfly that the psx can't have the same animation or frame timing for the fighters, and more importantly psx only has 1 on 1. But it was enjoyable. Don't how would be for me right now.
If we get a mvc game with these characters, they better do a remix or get the music from these games and not the shitty movie ost they got for infinite, god gambit’s theme is so fucking good lets go
