New Route? Santa Cruz Metro Gillig Low Floor EV  

I'm not sure if I would consider this route completely new as it's almost a replica of route 10 High before it got replaced by 3A/3B, which served as a director connectors between UCSC and Capitola Mall. However, due to severe delays along these routes, 3A/3B were cut back to serve Santa Cruz and Capitola Mall only. They may be reinstate the full service of 3A/3B if UCSC does end up building a layover spot for Metro buses. It doesn't seem like the layover spot is happening too soon as UCSC TAPS hasn't mentioned much about nor that the idea hasn't really been brought to light.
