I could see how the game developers could not want people to draw such things in the game, my opinion on all of it aside, whether it's swastikas or whatever, I understand why the devs got rid of it, but I personally wish there was an option where you could opt-out/in to the feature instead
this is how game devs in 2024 should proceed the game development. Start free open beta, let people play it, gather the feedback, improve the game upon the feedback, start another open beta and see, if people like the changes, gather the feedback, improve some more = win - win situation for everyone!
That's how it was always supposed to be. Then these greedy ass corporations start using "beta" and "alpha" to just let people play demo versions of the game early and then they release them in the same state. You can tell how bootlicked gamers are because when you tell them that Alphas and Betas are meant to be tested and not "played" they react like you kicked their dog. It's sad to see.
For someone that's getting into RTS games like steep division 2 and warno I'm looking forward to this game I've been looking at a bunch of stuff for it and have it on my steam wish list
@@marcellofabrizio2297 it's asking too much. While our Armed Forces today are basically the first of Europe, the public recognition of our military strenght is left behind to the times of ww2. 😑
I just want them to get the formula right... this game has so much freaking potential its insane, it has the potential to be RTS OF THE DECADE as well as being remembered in later years as the gold standard for RTS milsim games.
The MICLIC stands for "Mine-Clearing Line Charge". It's actual developed purpose was to fire a line of explosives across a minefield and then detonate it, clearing a path of mines for vehicles and infantry to get through. It's been used as an impromptu barrier clearing device as well. Ukraine got them in aid packages and figured "why tf not?" and started using them to clear mines, dragon's teeth, tree lines, entrenched infantry, essentially anything that didn't involve breaking a fortified target.
I think It will be China or Germany too. Due the fact as i read they dont want to do red vs blue like Russia and China vs Nato for example, It can be in future, maybe China vs Russia, Germany vs US, and i hope they make an option like Team 1: US, Germany, Russia, Russia , China Vs Team 2: Russia China US US UK 100% It would be so good but idk if they Will do something like that
The MCLIC’s are mine clearing vics. The cord they shoot out is just det cord and they operate similar to a mortar but arent used against infantry (i think thats a warcrime? If not, then its not a warcrime the first time 🤷🏻♂️)
Im really hype for this game. I wonder how it will fair against WARNO and Call to arms: Osfront. As it stand i think Call to arms is the best war RTS on the market. The level of detail is insane. I really cant wait to try this out.
they had a beta already, and I can say it was far better then warno, reddragon, call to arms, any other deck builder I've played, it is what my dream rts has been for years. I really dislike military rts, but still I'm really excited for it
@lianxia1111 Awesome, thanks for the heads up. The main reason I love call to arms is it's more a platoon based RTS. This game and Warno alike are legit division sized battles which is awesome in it's own right. Said there will be another demo next month so I won't miss it. There is one more game you've probably heard of called Regiments. Also larger scale battles, very good game though for what it is. It's come a long way since it released.
Yep, I wrote about that in this video (I was editing it and they came out with that dev blog lmao) so I will be covering that ASAP! (Hopefully out tomorrow/Monday!)
sad that this is not updated, new update came last day :( but still the big december surprise will be for sure a month of launch, thats what we want the most
I played the beta for Broken Arrow and put a decent chunk of time into Wargame and its sequels. I would say the formula of this game is rather different than Wargame. There is an even greater focus on realism with sight lines and ranges. Artillery requires a lot more active control than Wargame with constant movement and alternating between finding good firing positions and resupplying. There are host of other small changes that make the game play and feel quite different.
The "big announcement everyone is waiting for" in December is obviously just gonna be the release date. Hopefully its sometime early 2025. I really don't wanna wait another 6 months.
I really Hope It, me as same a lot of players were waiting for It in early 2024, then second mid part of 2024 then 2025... Hope It comes soon... Really need the game. Eve ill but a pc to play out of home x) i have few travels and like 12h out of home almost every day
@miguelpericas6154 Yeah I'm dying to play it again. It's my most hyped game in years. I just upgraded my gpu to 7800xt for $450 and it's coming right around when the beta starts in November. Broken arrow coming out soon is the main reason I bought it so I could play it on good graphics 🤣
@theShermanator Yeah that would be sick. Broken arrow has so much potential with more nations. But I'll take 2 factions if it means I can play it sooner. I don't mind waiting 6-12 months for another faction. I hope the game gets multiplayer server mod support at some point. The possibilities would be endless.
@@rileyxbell same! New pc just for Broken Arrow 4070, i7 13700, 2tb SSD, 32gn ram im so hyped(+ day before but it smell so bad) but broken arrow looks real and awsome. Tom clancys end war player here and this is something close
For me I prefer to have AI for skirmish and can play sometime for relax but it beta so I guess may be have to wait. But i hope it will be in final version
its not about handling them, or graphics, I think its simply about the fact you only have 4 triggers, 4 buttons, 4 directional buttons, 2 thumbsticks and I guess you can click the sticks, so thats like 14 "buttons" and 2 sticks. I can imagine the game requires more than 14 buttons
@@theShermanator I don’t know about PlayStation but XBOX has keyboard and mouse support. I have both console and PC but I do think it won’t come to console because I doubt the team would even be capable of creating a console version.
Well in ~3 weeks there is another beta, I really enjoyed the last one but felt infantry for example was squishy - changes to the airborne stuff will also make both factions' airborne specs more interesting as well
I got my best k/d matches from infantry. Personally I think a lot of the complaints were from wargame players that felt infantry should just be something you leave in a building or forest and forget about. With some micro and supplies they were already crazy strong in close quarters, so I can't wait for all the complaints of them being overpowered in the next beta when people run into players that bother to actually move their infantry around.
And? I was able to play the beta, many others were too, it was open and free for everyone - I played and found infantry interesting but squishy. These are very big changes, the %s are not 3-4% but 10-25% in places for example. Furthermore there are big changes to the way airborne specs will play now and it's cool to see new vehicles (I didn't cover even half of all the new stuff they talked about tbh, since it was just too much lol)
What fucked me up the most was the absolutely unrealistic Russian unit variety. The Americans still used M60s while the Russians have the most high tech shit, that mostly never saw production.
@Psykeeper993 I don't think any of this has to be politicized - I just want to play a fun game - there were some anti-Russian comments before, now pro-Russian - I just wanna play the game guys
@@miningchip1 It's funny that foreigners hundreds of kilometres away from Ukraine are more nationalistic about the country than actual Ukrainians. Downright fanatical even.
