Not sure if you know this trick or not, but if you soak the cans in hot water for about 10-15 mins, it helps the paint flow out the can better

So this is the reason why I’m seeing so many cars in this color. It’s certainly cost effective and it looks decent if you don’t have a trained eye. Not everyone has $9k for a bodyshop refinish on a $10k valued used car. Good stuff.

For anyone who wants to do this but doesnt feel comfortable doing it. Go to a junkyaard, get a front fender, ding it up, bondo it sand, paint it and learn yourself and leave it outside for a few months to see what you can do. Best way I learned ..

Dude please hook this car up with the 2k clear!! I have a 97 civic coupe and I love it. Depending on how I drive I get 280 to 380 miles on a tank of gas. I once achieved 400 on 10 gallons, and another time got 387 on 8 gallons but that time was pure highway road trip cruising at 65mph. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple months now and I do see myself taking on the project of doing my car with spray cans. I’m mostly concerned about doing the prep work correct, and also the fact that I don’t have a garage. I’m in an apartment and park in a car port, but even thought of draping cover using the car port posts😂😂 but yeah prep work and the work area are my biggest hold backs right now. I haven’t painted anything before so and I don’t want my first time to look like crap. Also my car desperately needs paint, half of the clear coat is gone and a lot of the paint itself is faded so I’m not just trying to paint a perfectly good car for no reason. Mostly straight body too with a few small dings….so with all that I still have a lot to think about before taking it it all on. When ever if happens I’ll definitely be referencing your videos. Pretty sick timing with that new cap you used too, seems to be better than the regular cans so I’m glad I’m far from starting. I’ll be looking for those cans when I get around to it. Still need to chose a color….my car is black and just want to do that but I believe you mentioned in a previous video that black shows alllllllll the flaws. So I dunno, I haven’t 100% landed on a color. If you even see this long ass comment please do more with your brothers civic!!!

I love your videos. You have taken away the fear I think a lot people have with using rattle can spray paint. You inspired me to change the color of my motorcycle. Went from factory black to the dupli color grabber green with the 2k over it. Thanks to you and your videos it turned out really nice!

You know there are grips for spray cans right ? Not only that but I feel you would benefit from getting a specialized tip/cap from a graffiti store. A fat tip/cap would help you cover greater area, with better pressure control. Essentially being able to use any kind of spray paint

Please take this as friendly criticism, rattle can jobs will look half decent for a few months. Its longevity that's the problem. Weather and the sun will break them down without a good clearcoat.
