Very unique floor plan. However, my suggestion for the master bathroom would be to lose the second sink (or make that an option) and just have a long counter for hair dryers, make up and sundry items. The second sink is awkwardly placed in front of the toilet with very little space to stand at the sink. I agree with other commenters concerning the washer/dryer prep in the bunkhouse, have a safety cover or some way to disconnect from a water source. It also appeared that the ground control was in a position to make it difficult to see. Otherwise, very nice layout and design. I love the lighter natural wood cabinet colors.
I’ll be honest. I always thought of Coachman as the blue collar man’s RV. They were simple, not over the top affordable rigs. Since JD influence, and collabs, Coachman has truly stepped things up to the next level. Azdel, appropriate running gear, and features consumers desire. Well done Coachman.
Great floor plan. I had to ask my wife if she could figure out the letters in the model number. Took her a little while but as soon as she saw the front bunkhouse it came to her. Our kids would love this unit.
Very good point! I believe by going with the smaller fridge option, a pantry would be present ;) Lots of cabinetry by the hutch and under-island storage though.
Nice floor plan overall. Only two negatives for me: 1-Very limited work space around the stove. 2-Should have put the main TV on a power lift and added a window in the same location for some camp-side viewing.

It would be really nice if they made something like two doors to cover the washer/dryer area if you use the area for that, which would obviously be an added cost. Otherwise leave it as is if no washer/dryer.
This is a very smart re-think of the interiors of these things. SOOO many of these regardless of brand do the same things; same bed orientations, same window placements, same bathrooms, etc. In this one, the rear bath having all that light is freakin' amazing. The bunk location is a good use of otherwise wasted vertical space, along with a smart telescoping ladder, even if getting down can interrupt traffic. Having 2 full baths == major thumbs-up. And being able to convert some of the front space to washer AND dryer is a master stroke. The only problem with that I'd see is kids messing around with turning those faucets on and off so I'd want those lockable.
Very nice coach, that rates in my top 5 bunkhouse 5th wheels now that I have been looking at, for my someday upgrade, very creative use of space and use full space to a family of 4 or more. Glad to finally see something like this outside of a mid bunk or rear bunk coach.
This is very nice; I love this layout I love the part for the kids up front, since all of mine kids are grown, I might have too browner some kids, lol, no way.
Not sure if I prefer this to the 367BH but I do like the innovative approach they have taken. With that said, the washer dryer area is plain old weird, needs some refining.
WOW, I actually contacted Coachmen to see if they would make this model with a 3rd AC and they told me, "no, we don't do that." I'm glad they turned around on that. It's such a cool floorplan for a family with kiddos.
This is actually a very cool layout for a bunkhouse unit. I didn’t really notice the lower hight of the ceiling until you walked in the bedroom. I think increasing the ceiling hight in the bedroom really made the lower part of the ceiling more noticeable as to how low the ceiling actually is.
I think they nailed the floor plan. I would like to see them raise the master bedroom all the way across and do away with the loft. Then utilize that space underneath for some outside storage like most front living floor plans. Or offer it in an option for both floor plans for people who want the loft. Personally, I feel the loft is wasted space even for storage because you have to go in and out of the RV to utilize it.
Overall Coachman did a solid job of blending the 267BH and 355FBX. Pluses: 1) The 267 kitchen/Living layout. 2) The 355 bath/bed layout. 3) Over 2,000 lbs. Cargo Capacity. Minuses: 1)Pass-through storage width to narrow. 2) Not a fan of the loft. Would prefer the master bedroom the same as the 355. 3) Prefer the kids/guest bathroom door to be in the hallway instead of bedroom just the same as the 355. Wishlist: 1) I wish Coachman still had the option for the booth dinette as any add storage space is a plus. 2) Mini refrigerator and outside sink while still keeping the Cargo Capacity over 2,000 lbs.
Nice to see they expanded on the 355FBX. adding a slide, extra couch, adding a loft and moving the W/D to the bottom bunk seems to be the major changes. Not a fan of the W/D hookup being moved to the bottom bunk instead of in a closet. I do like that extra slide however with an island.
I really wish the kitchen sink were in the side counter instead of the island, much like the 360IBL does. The kitchen island is a space than can/should be used for serving and even dining. The sink is in the way.
355fbx owner here too. that kitchen with extra couch is nice! Notice the basement storage though is a LOT less! I don't love the loss of the bunkhouse cabinet with W/D hookups, and the lower ceiling in bedroom because of loft however.
What's the point of having that second sink right in front of the toilet? Not really enough space there to use the sink unless you kneel on the toilet.
Where is that interesting chart on their website? I can't find it! Ahhhhhhh! Edit: There is another difference between solid surface, and thermofoil, WATER. That sink is an under-mount sink, They mount with screws (clips held by screws), and if mounted into particleboard (what is underneath thermo-foil) and it gets wet, your screws will loosen. We screws pull loose. When many people wipe down a sing, spray the soap clear, they allow water to get on that seam, which wets the wood, which starts the process. Soak dishes in a bit of water and when you wake up you risk your sink falling into your cabinet.
I love the premise of the floor plan but with two teens I'd prefer full beds instead of twins and two sinks in the master bath seems silly in an RV to me. I'd rather have counter. Also prefer an outside sink to a "grill" because most people bring a Blackstone or somewhere similar.
I wish these companies would make dedicated outside kitchen model bigger than 12ft. Been Rving for 30yrs cooked inside maybe 5 times mainly just heating up something. Rather have the sq footage for living as an option.
Im seeing horrible reviews for Coachman online. Can you please tell me your experiences with Coachman. The unit appears to be decently built, but of course, i know it's not top of the line. Im literally about to start the buying process for this unit, but I'm just looking for more info. I've heard the warrant through Forest River is pretty much usless also.
I wouldn't consider them to be "best in class" from a build perspective, but they are slightly above average from what I've seen personally. Also, you need to reach out to Coachman 5th wheels directly for customer service. Forest River is just the parent company. each product has their own customer service line.
Not a fan of the lack of kitchen storage, wardrobe space in the bunk house, the lack of under carriage space for full time rv living or generator prep. With two bathrooms there should be a tankless water heater and a second black tank flush. 😢
This is a fail for me. The windows are all on the wrong side - facing the facing side of your neighbor (who has the windows on the correct side). The raised floor in front of the stove/fridge slide out is terrible. Can you imagine having to either stand away from the stove (in that tiny niche) or stand on the little ledge? Am I missing something? That's just wrong. I wouldn't be in the market for a bunk house anyway but the rest of this is a no go for me.
I’ll never understand why would I want to look out all those windows at my neighbors campsite and have them be able to watch me eat my dinner at the table. Design a camper with the windows looking at my campsite not the neighbors.
Respectfully, this prototype should stay as a prototype. I have never seen such disorder followed by quixotic design in a layout in its entirety… thousands of rv in the road with design that keeps bigger family in mind, this ain’t one of them. From the second sink unusable to a pullout bed next to the island of the kitchen; every room looks like they tried to reinvent the wheel. I know there is a lot of moving parts that make a rv but a frenchie can design a rv better than this. Respectfully
7000lb axles and 16" wheels. Stay away people! Don't buy this RV. This is a pumper pls do some research 17.5" wheels and H rated tires + way more gvwr required to haul reasonable amount of personal items
