I really like the fold but they are so fragile I couldn't get one again. I've got part of the inner screen not working in less than a year and my friends phone inner screen stopped working completely. The repairs cost so much too

My biggest gripe with the fold series is that for the extreme price point, the ultra series has the s-pen and the 10x optical zoom.. The Ultra series is just more premium despite being less expensive.. The fold still feels more gimmicky..

Hope they have fixed the rocking boat problem that comes up after enough usage. My fold 4 is not opening fully anyore and are like a boat.....its the small brushes inside the hinge that sticks and prevent it from opening fully. I will send it in and i hope they will fix it without issue, but are not sure as samsung warrenties repair can be problematic and hold the phone in ransome.

Been using Z Fold 3 since 2021 and didn't buy new phone for a long time , fold 4 and 5 doesn't have that much difference to justify buying a new phone but fold 6 look really good tho I'm interested 🤔 I'm not buying day one that's for sure lol gotta wait for user review to be sure if I'm gonna buy

They compare their phone, Z Fold 6 to Z Fold 5, I would rather have seen it compared to a Chinese foldable or a regular candy bar style phone. That would give me a better idea of the actual width of that outside (front) screen.

I'd prefer a foldable with a split screen like the Microsoft one. I'll never spend more than like 500€ on a fragile screen. Why not have the thin OLED screens overflow the middle fram a little? You would hardly see it and have a more durable screen. Or give us 5y of warranty for the screen not splitting itself.

before samsung release its first fold phone I had hope & wanted one but after samsung release it i got disappointed coz it was nothing like the concept ads that samsung used to show. so until designs change & crease less will not be getting one

I rather go with the OnePlus open do to the price and also I can trade in my device now and get the OnePlus open for $650 with trade in 👍👍👍👍😎 and the OnePlus open is the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and its crazy that the OnePlus open been out already almost for 9 months now

@@morm2173 of course of course you heard that the software on it is horrible it is I have a spare phone and it's a A1 plus phone from Metro let me tell you something anything that's a cheap version of a good flagship phone is going to be cheap everything meaning like software sucks because of hardware or just the phone in general sucks it's slow I know that it's the same shit with Samsung and their a or b devices like you know how they have the Samsung A32 or whatever like those low budget phones on low prices of course they're going to have like they're going to be slow or have problems or whatever but to me like I said I have a Galaxy Fold Z 3 and I have never had a problem with it besides the screen when you open it like you know after a while it starts to have problems so I went ahead and had this screen changed on it like twice but they can't do that so what they have to do is give you a whole new phone but that's not from Samsung I did it from a local cell phone place and it's pointless talking to Samsung when you have warranty they still want to charge you to get the Z-Fold or flip phones fixed so that's pointless but other than that I have never heard anything or seen or read anything bad of the OnePlus open cell phone and I do my research before I purchase shit cuz I'm not trying to waste money or return nothing but yeah that's my thought sorry it's long but this is how I feel about the whole situation

I am absolutely done with Samsung. They have made deals with Netflix, which means I cannot uninstall that app from the phone I paid a lot of money for. To make matters worse, Samsung has the audacity to push ads through notifications on my device. I will never buy anything from them again.

I'm definitely with you on the bloatware frustration. I can see how they would be willing to push that envelope though, since their hardware is quite unparalleled in the android universe. The same reason they are willing to push the price. Samsung hardware with native GrapheneOS would be ideal to me. But alas, capitalism

In EU, this isn't the case. Also.. you can get out of the phone every single piece of software/bloatware, unlike other Chinese phones, so just do your research and learn how to uninstall the bloatware. Samsung devices are not locked and while I was in the exact same boat as you, few years ago I gifted a S21 ultra to someone and I was impressed by the phone and how Samsung has changed over the years, and now on my S24 ultra, I can confidently say is the best all rounder slab phone out there, no doubts.
