I love the juxtaposition of the well thought out informative and overall cheerful explanation of a strategy immediately followed by the dead drone voice of "lets just try some meme shit"

Seeing how Rafaam got this far without a proper build got me thinking: Remember when we were all really pissed about Cobalt being the best card in BG while only being at Tavern 3? And how Amalgam was problematic for being the best while only being at Taver 2 before that? now that we got a lot of really stong, buld defining cards at 5 and 6 a loss aganst them will hot for 15-20 easily whereas a cobalt build would hot for like 8-15. This makes rounds a lot shorter and is the reason why so many people get knocked out before they can get to a proper build, increasing the feeling of helplessness and frustration in the game mode. Playing BG is just a total coinflip right now, which it wasn't in the beginning. Back when we still had amalgam, the first one who got it typically won, but other people still had tiem to counteract it somehow. Counterplay was much more of a thing and RNG was more forgiving. A single turn of bad cards offered in The Tavern didn't mean you instantly got a "Top 8" game back then... Now on the other hand, you get unlucky just once and Top player hits you for 30 damage because he happened to roll into two mackrels with a bunch of trash refreshers or a Kelagos ...

double mackerel should honestly be nerfed. There shouldn't be such a thing as a potentially infinite strategy in battle grounds especially something that is so easy to do.

Hey krip just wanted to say something even though you might not see this, I'd just like to say thank you for helping me through all the tough times in my life with your clips, there's alot of things in my life that honestly I'm surprised I'm still alive to this day with, but every one of those days coming home to watch your RU-vid and stream has always helped, thank you so much for the help, keep up the good work and just know you're changing lives.

I don't understand why people are down on Maiev in BG so much. I've consistently gotten top three every time I've picked her. It's a bit trickier to play, certainly, but if you're not wedded to a particular build type, then you can get triples far more consistently and quite easily always get top 4. The blocked spot is annoying, but easy enough to work around.

this was my run yesterday, got wrath weaver as well, add crowd favorite, and a bit of menagerie, in the end it makes it so you can take just about any card your given and it will improve your dudes multiple times over.

But Kripp there is a button to go to 4k ranking it’s the concede button

Yup here it is. Literally 2 videos before Kripp saying that its not a great card like wrathweaver very situational and he didnt like it. Kripp now "NeW SauROliSk CarD Is InSAnE!". I love kripp havent missed a single video the past 5 years but stuff like this trigger me

Saurolisk is just insane. I won a match of battlegrounds with four of them golden, two gold selfless hero, and a random other deathrattle minion. Although it did take about 10 or more straight wins against the final player since they had 30+ health and I can only output 2-3 damage each time. Hell they even changed their late game beast build with duel maexxna to a late game poisonous murloc build in an attempt to turn things around.

Saurolisk also pairs well with Millhouse, as you can buy up trash deathrattles throughout the game. While it's a little weaker early game, the strength of deathrattles in the early game balances it out.

Saurolisk tier 1 can work even without a hero power. Dancing Darryl just helps it be more consistent.

Try playing pyramad with this minion, it's pretty fun. But you'll barely make it into top 4.

Just tried this out with the same hero and tactic, and got 1st place. Who would've thought meme build is best build.

I thought the concept of smurfing was generally looked down upon for being dishonest and unfair to the people at lower levels who are learning the game or trying to climb. I get the appeal it must have but I’m confused. When other people do it, it’s bad, but when people like Krip say “yeah I’m smurfing to do some dumb shit lol” suddenly there’s no problem?

Hmm Deral-ing + Saurolisk on 1 seems slightly worse than (any hero) Saurolisk on 1. At the end of the video you'd have 4 Saurolisks between 50/50 and 100/100 which would probably hold on for a bit, still sucks from damage output, but is a very consistant build.

This not meme build, it's extremely useful especially for f2p who 9nly have 2hero to choose and get double bad hero. This strategy can apply to any hero and stay top4 to grind out BG pts. #IDONTKILLU

Inspired from this video, I tried this build on Deryl. At the end, I had 2 big golden saurolisks (70/70 and 50/50). I finished 2nd because there was an Alex in the lobby who was lucky enough to pull kalecgos from his hero power. So, this build actually works well. Btw, my MMR is 7.8k.

I actually think Pyramad does this build the best, but he can only do it if he gets the lisk on the opening roll.

Ghoul with 8 toughness would probably win because it will survive a nadina attack while still killing her (assuming nadina is the first attacker so place ghoul in right side)

I played saurolisk with pyramad and had a flawless game with a 15 winstreak (I played against afk first rounds)

yo Krip, I know it's hard to speed up your video rate and I am very impressed by the rate you and Rania churn out these videos twice a day. But could it be possible to break your normal routine when a new patch hits and just highlight new changes right after? It's only once every 6-8 weeks I think. What was that divine shield nonesense from kripp's selfess hero. Out of the 9 rounds where he had 2 golden hero's, in 6 of them the divine shield went onto the other selfless hero.

I've done this build with a hero that does absolutely nothing for it and made it to the top 4. It could have been a higher place, but I got pretty unlucky in one game.

Maiev buff sugestion: 0 cost hero power, usable once per turn. Freeze (use dormant animation) 1 minion of your choice and give it +1/+1. It's very similar to Nozdormu's hero power. It kinda gives you an extra roll, but keeping only the selected minion for next turn.
