It's nice to see you smile despite things being tough for you right now, I like how it lights up your whole face! It seems life is a series of events that really, really suck with some good moments in between. Someday you'll look back at current you and realize you've grown exponentially through your grief. This coming from someone who lost their entire family in 12 weeks. We can't control a lot of things that happen in life, only how we react to them. Hang in there, it won't always feel this shitty.

I completely understand what you mean by you would rather be listening to music than be in your own thoughts.
