great update curtis damm lots of projects u be busy for a long time good to see a anouther ss16 onto the channel one a new motor has bin put into or the one that came with it u should have no probems with that snow blower for a long time

Good deal on the Sears with a snowblower! Hopefully it will be a fairly easy fix to get the Onan up and running again with a rebuilt or new carb!

got one 1975 ss16 onan running for $50 and i was surprised when it just started just wish i could find rear accessories for it im in new brunswick canada

That’s a onan 18hp style of carb that’s the good ones when it comes to onans

All of the Onan engines crabs. Gave trouble . I have one rite now that needs to be rebuilt . I also have to drill two bolts in the starter where it bolts to the engine block . Learned to use a electric fuel pump instead of the mechanical one . That way the carb.doesnt give so much problems not do you have to be onthe starter so much .

Are them Onans as good as Wisconsins? I've heard they have electrical issues a lot, and it's impossible to find any decent reasonably priced parts. It looks like a Briggs opposed 18. If it's anything like one of those, have fun fixing that bud.

I could sell that for 3600 here.
