Sometimes, while I'm watching your videos, I realize that my face is in the jaw-dropped position from amazement. On the other hand, I thought I was the only person alive that not only worried about bees but also worried about the wasps. When my neighbor came outside with wasp killing spray to kill a nest near our back doors, I had a hard time convincing her that it would be better to knock the nest down at night. Finally, she relented, and I knocked it down at dusk so they would live to build one someplace else. Most people grab for the spray without thinking about the insect and the runoff into the soil. I thought your comment on the real price of bread was very interesting. The amount of work our ancestors did for a loaf of bread or a linen shirt is awe-inspiring.

Watched every minute, there was no problem staying completely fascinated by the diversity of your interests, your love of learning, and the skill and patience you bring to every project - from fishing to bees to climbing mountains (and trees), to living in the wild, building your place, growing and cooking food - and your love of the North, which as a life-long Alaskan I share. All your woodworking and metalworking processes are well worth viewing, more than once! I subscribe to and share many video channels and yours is unique in its breathtaking variety and quality. Very well done, it warms my heart when l hear someone express their attraction to living a bush life, l find that it made more of a man out of me that living in the city and having to rely on other people. It made me a more responsible and appreciative person all around. It also taught me that 3/4s of what l owned was no use to living a good clean life and was a great waste of time and money.
