Definitely Steve . The prices can vary a lot between builders providers . I was buying all my cement in b and q at 5.65 euros a bag . they put it up to 5.95 recently . I have a small builders yard near me and he was usually 6.00 euros a bag but he’s gone down to 5.50 a bag now he changed brands . I’m back with him for a while . Excellent video enjoyed it .

Hi Steve I find the big merchants unless you have an account the are expensive Selco the price in the book plus VAT is what everyone pays and for small bitty jobs you can do a one shop collection

You should go into the management and tell the they need to open one up here in Plymouth it be really handy as som places down here u gotta go here and ther to get materials but selco seems to sell everything u need

Interesting place. Much like a Home Depot in the USA, including the same color scheme. But Selco seems to have better quality goods, especially lumber, and more than just one or two badly picked-over of each sort of thing.

Celotex prices always make me laugh in builders merchants. Luckily I have a guy who delivers it to me and is about a third of the price!

They are not that cheap considering it’s a so called trade warehouse but the 6.30am opening time can be a benefit for that forgotten back of cement or plaster ect .My brother non trade has just paid 50p a bag more for sand at Travis in Blackburn than what I pick it up for in Hews Greys ….The thing is how can B&Q be cheaper on a lot of essential builders items than the so called big trade merchants . We swop and change and get the best deals we can .
