I’ve watched so many of your videos and I think it’s ok to admit that you don’t love being in Colorado. I feel like you’re trying to convince yourself that’s where you’re supposed to be. Out of state school isn’t for everyone and instead of feeling dread about returning (your words), consider transferring next year. Why not? You’re right, time is fleeting and you should be where you’re happiest.

this is honestly so thought provoking. I really do love so many things about both places - it’s just the change every few months that I struggle with a couples weeks out of the year. I’ve realized I get over it pretty quickly once I am back settled in the dorm. I think long distance has a lot to do with that struggle too (and having an identical twin). I love my major and sorority here and couldn’t imagine transferring but I don’t think it will ever get easier to do the back and forth and say bye to the people I love the most ❤️ I totally can see where you’re coming from with this comment though! thank you for sharing.

I transferred colleges after 2 years and feel like nothing is ever the right or “better” choice it’s really what you make of it It will be so special for you to return to California when you’ve earned your degree if you stay in Colorado! ❤

I’m an alumni from CU boulder, stumbled across your video, and it’s insane how much I miss that time of my life! So I know it’s hard transitioning from one space to another, but def soak up the time at college - it really does go by so insanely fast. I wished it away at times too and desperately wish I could’ve coped better to enjoy my time to its fullest, but I personally didn’t transition well. So continuing to learn that skill over small breaks and summer break early on to transition well and be present in whatever space you’re at, will serve you so well! Emotions are totally valid tho regardless!

I'm a freshman in college and moved from Arizona to Michigan and felt the same way about coming back to college after break. I kept questioning if I made the right choice going to college out of state. So, hearing you have felt the same way is very comforting. I love watching your videos!

For the elf clear brow/lash gel I’m pretty sure the two sides are exactly the same, so you can use the “lash” product on your brows 🫶

Hey Katie!! I live in boulder as well, and one thing that I’ve found that really helps my dry skin in the winter is the Summer Fridays jet lag mask! It is this SUPER thick moisturizer that will leave your skin feeling so hydrated in the super dry and absolutely freezing Colorado winters!! Mine has lasted me forever!

Hey girl. I miss college soooo much. I graduated 5 years ago. In the moment you can’t wait to get out and be done with all the assignments and agony of being away from home but once you do you miss those days and memories so much. Cherish these days because you’ll never get them back once you graduate and go into the real world. I relive my college experience through your videos and I love them so much! It really makes me miss it but also happy and grateful to have those memories. You will be okay , I promise! Freshman year is the hardest being away from home but it gets easier. I went to college in Buffalo, NY which also gets so much snow and is so cold but I grew to love it! Stay warm in Colorado!!

I always find so much love, Joy, positivity and motivation everytime i watch your videos. Seeing you and your parents reaction to Allie's bid is the sweetest thing. I use My Study Life, which is like an online agenda and it color codes classes, and organizes each assignment by due date:) I went back to college on the 8th, which I was sad about leaving too. good luck next semester🫶
