NEW Semi-Automatic SHINY Paradox Method in Pokemon Scarlet Violet 

This channel is practically a shiny hunting advent calendar right now 🤣

In order to shiny hunt Iron Moth using this method, don't start by jumping into the crater like Blaines did (it causes a known glitch that causes the Iron Moths to fly up out of your reach). Instead, go into the Area 0 building, and go to facility/complex 1. Once outside, make your way up to where Blaines was in the video (checking the Iron Moths that spawn along the way), and set things up from there. This negates the glitch, and keeps the Iron Moths from "being raptured by Arceus"! (I used the method to get 2 shiny Iron Moths just last night, so I guarantee that it works. 👍)

Also an important bit of advice, in case people didn't know. Your pokemon can't auto battle shinies.

For those that have Violet I don’t recommend using this method to hunt Iron Moth for some reason as soon as one spawns in it immediately flies away

So when I do this, for some reason all of the Iron Moths just float up into the air like it's the rapture, and I can't interact with them. Lol

Great video! I already knew about this method, but it can never hurt for it to get more coverage. Glad to see you called it semi-automatic in the title, as I know some RU-vidrs would call it fully automatic. Hopefully we get more methods like this soon!

This'll help me get the Shiny Iron Valiant for my Scarlet version. I pre-ordered both versions so I can get all Shiny Paradox Pokemon. (Except Miraidon and Koraidon of course as they're shiny-locked sadly.) Great video.

If you use gholdengo to auto battle, it makes it pretty much automatic

In lvl of A0 there is a stone pillar where you can manipulate spawns to spawn on the caddy corner, corner of the pillar. Next auto battle until shiny

It's way faster to view distance despawn them...I found one without a shiny charm in 3 minutes.

Climb that rock slightly and nothing spawns inside the rocks and you can see every single spawn while your pokemon auto battles, I found it to be a much better spot to sit for this location :) Thanks!

I would recommend Gallade for this hunt, it is psychic type, learns falls swipe + hypnosis and is much faster than flutter mane.

As someone who recently mark-hunted shiny Slither Wing for several days, while this method does work, the AI of your Let's Go mon is semi-reliable at best and you'll find it will constantly require resetting not only when there are no mons nearby, but also because it's pathing gets interrupted or starts looping. You will eventually get it but your rate of respawns in pretty slow in comparison. If you want to do it faster, the area at the bottom of the cliff over that fence is better to use when you're doing your slow-run, camera pan, standard hunt, especially if you clear the pack-spawns there first.

fyi you need encounter power for this to work, sparkling power or shiny charm makes this easier/quicker but not required

If you’re looking for Sandy Shocks, got to the bottom of the rocky incline to the left of research station 2, and do basically the same thing. Got one in 20 min

for me revabroom is the best pokemon for autobattles - very fast movement speed, can fly, "surf", climb, etc as well. Not to mention it has a fantastic offensive typing

It's easy as long as you can get the herba needed.

I'm still convinced that we need all event raid to have a change to drop herba mystica. Otherwise these raids are almost junk. The charazard and Cinderace ones are the ones that matter to me. And yes I don't want to grind a stupid list of Pokemon raid for a small chance for one item. It just seems too grindy.

On attempt five of trying this and no shiny has spawned. plus its been hard to get things spawning in the middle everything wants to hug the slope or the rock wall.
