Whilst in Middlesbrough, I thought I would take a trip on the new Service 16 which got launched at the end January 2024. This new service connects the people of Ingleby Barwick & Thornaby to the Teesside Retail Park and then on to Middlesbrough Bus Station. It runs every 30 Minutes, 7 days a week. If you are heading from the Bus Station, it should only take around 7 Minutes to reach the Retail Park. Also, this bus (1559), is actually interesting as it has been wrapped with a new unique livery advertising the new Service 16 to Teesside Park on the exterior. In the inside of the vehicle as you see in the video, it has just your new standard Arriva blue leather seats with all the old sapphire stickers on the top removed. However, it still has the sapphire logo stuck on the drivers cab door.
